17-964-Order Recorded 3/20/1974IN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES In the Matter of O R D E R Amendments to the Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -5 VOL 17 FACE 964 This matter coming before the County Commission upon the Planning Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing on this issue, March 12, 1974, and unanimously recommended approval, and, The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public interest and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following amendments be adopted: Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -5, Tourist Commercial C-1 I Section 3.310, amended to read as follows; SECTION 3.310 Uses Permitted Outright. In a C-1 Zone the following uses and their accessory uses are permitted subject to the provisions of Section 3.320. 1. Car Wash 2. Drug store. 3. Eating or drinking establishment, including drive-in restaurant. 4. Food Store. 5. Gift shop or similar tourist -oriented specialty store. 6. Motel 7. Self -servicing laundry. 8. Sporting goods store. 9. Service Station. 10. Business or professional office. 11. Medical or dental clinic. 12. Commercial recreation facility. 13. Commercial uses permitted outright in the C-2 Zone that were existing prior to the effective date of this ordinance. Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -5, SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL SR -1, Section 3.115, amended to read as follows: SECTION 3.115 Conditional Uses Permitted. In an SR -1 Zone the following uses and their accessory uses are permitted when authorized in accordance with the provisions of Article 7: VOL 17 ?AGE 965 1. Two-family dwelling. 2. Public Use. 3. Semi-public use. 4. Mobilehome Subdivision pursuant to Section 3.125. S. One mobilehome used as the principle residence on a lot having a minimum area of 20,000 square feet. Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -2, Section 1.030 Definitions. Amended to read: 32. Street: A public right-of-way or private easement for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Done by order of the Board of Commissioners this 20th day of March, 1974, to become effective immediately. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
