ORDER
This matter coming before the County Commission upon the Planning
Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing on this issue
October 9, 1973, and unanimously recommended approval, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in public interest
and the County Commission being advised, and
Pursuant to County Zoning Ordinance PL -5,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following Zone Change be adopted:
That the following described property be zoned P -D Planned Development:
A tract of land situated in the NWl/4 of Section 13, Township 18 S,
Range 11 E, W. M. more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southerly right-of-way of the Brooks -
Scanlon Logging Road which bears south 00 degrees 55115" West
602, 65 feet from the corner common to Sections 11, 12, 13 and 14,
Township 18 South, Range 11 E, W. M. thence along said right-of-way
North 64 degrees 03145" East 660. 00 feet; thence South 00 degrees
55'15" West 1320. 00 feet; thence South 64 degrees 03145" West 660. 00
feet to the intersection of the boundary between said Sections 13 and 14;
thence along said boundary north 00 degrees 55115" East 1320. 00 feet
to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: A parcel of land lying in the northwest 1/4 of the northwest
1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of Section 13, Township 18 S, Range 11 E, and
being a portion of that property described in that deed to the State of
Oregon, by and through its State Highway Commission, recorded in
Volume 138, Page 500 of Deschutes County Record of Deeds, the said
parcel being that portion of said property lying southerly of a line
which is parallel with and 80 feet southerly of the center line of
Century Drive Highway;
EXCEPT therefrom that property described in that deed to Lawrence
L. Baxter and Billie C. Baxter, recorded in Volume 173, Page 795 of
Deschutes County Record of Deeds.
PARCEL 3: A parcel of land lying in the northwest 1/4 of the northwest
1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of Section 13, Township 18 S, Range 11 E and
being a portion of that property described in that deed to the State of
Oregon, by and through its State Highway Commission, recordedin

Volume 138, Page 5 of Deschutes County Record of Deeds; the said
parcel being the East 60 feet of said property lying Southerly of a
line which is parallel with and 80 feet southerly of the center line of
Century Drive Highway.
PARCEL 4: A strip of land one hundred feet in width, 50 feet on each
side of the center line of the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road as presently
located and constructed over and across the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 of the
NW1/4 of Section 13, Township 18 S, Range 11 E, beginning at the
westerly line of said Section 13, and continuing north 64 degrees 03'
45" E, a distance of 730 feet. LESS the easterly 350 feet of Parcel
No. 2 on which the Entrada Lodge is located. All located in
Deschutes County, Oregon.
Done by order of the Board of Commissioners this 17th day of October,
