IN THE MATTER OF ZONE CHANGE REQUEST BY FISHER: At this time the Commission, and upon unanimous recommendation request by James Fisher from A-1, Recreation Residential, effective upon the petition of the Planning Commission at public hearing, approved zone change Exclusive Agricultural to RR -I, Rural November 7, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF ZONE CHANGE REQUEST BY DAVENPORT: At this time the Commission, upon the petition of the Planning Commission and upon unanimous recommendation at public hearing, approved zone change request by Robert Davenport from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural to R-1, Urban Residential Single Family, effective November 7, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF NOTICE TO HETU.: At this time the Commission extended the date that Harold Hetu is to appear before the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners to December 5, 1973, to show cause that a nuisance under provisions of Ordinance CG -4 does not exist. -5- IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF PUBLIC ROADS: Vol- 17 PAGE493 At this time the Commission, acting upon the petition of Sunriver Properties Inc., an Oregon corporation, Deschutes County, Oregon, resolved to vacate the following described public roads: Those portions of Abbot Drive, Abbot Circle and Center Road dedicated and shown on the Plat of Meadow Village recorded June 20, 1968., in Volume 8 of Plats of Deschutes County, Oregon, at Page 53. That portion of Abbot Drive dedicated and shown on the Plat of Overlook Park recorded in Volume 9 of Plats of Deschutes County, Oregon, at Page 26 on July 11, 1969. That portion of Abbot Drive dedicated and shown on the Plat of Fairway Island recorded April 23, 1970, in Volume 10 of Plats of Deschutes County, Oregon, at Page 5. Employees who were unable to come to work on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 6 and 7 will be allowed to take comp time or vacation time. It was also ordered that the Department Head be responsible for reporting if any employees were absent and whether they will be taking comp time or vacation time or without pay. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH AUDITOR:_ VOL 17 PACE494 At this time the Commission entered into corrected Agreement with Marvin E. Walpole, Certified Public Accountant, to conduct an audit for the period beginning July 1, 1972, to June 30, 1973, and annually thereafter in accordance with prescribed minimum standards of audit, reports, certificates and procedures. IN THE MATTER OF REFUNDS: At this time the Commission approved refund in the amount of $26.92 to Irwin Clements ' Genesse, Idaho, for three months mobile home tax paid in Deschutes County. At this time the Commission approved refund in the amount of $58.53 to Clyde Purcell, Bend, Oregon, as 11.20 acres of water was removed from his account and should have come off for the 1972-73 tax year. At this time the Commission approved refund in the amount of $86.01 as house should not have been included on this account to Brooks Resources. IN THE MATTER OF LAND -FOR -LAND EXCHANGE WITH U.S.F.S.: At this time the Commission entered into Land -For -Land Exchange Offer with U.S.F.S.; Deschutes County conveying to the United States the property described as SW14 NW!4 and NW14 SW4, Section 1, Township 19S., Range 12 E., W.M., containing 80 acres in exchange for property in Township 17S., Range 12 E., W.M. in Section 22 described as: A strip of land 400 feet in width, the easterly side of which is the easterly side of the SE41 of the NEJ, and the NE4 of the SE4 of Section 22, the westerly side of which is a line parallel with the easterly side of the SE4 of the NE4 and the NE14 of the SE14 of Section 22, and 400 feet westerly therefrom, the northern boundary of said strip is a right-of- way for the North Unit Main Canal irrigation ditch and the southern line is the Butler Market Road; and in Section 23 described as: That portion of the W! of the NW41 lying south of the right-of-way for the North Unit Main Canal irrigation ditch.. containing 23.59 acres. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH BLM: At this time the Commission approved Proffer of Monetary Contribution with Bureau of Land Management, agreeing to contribute the sum of $361.94 for construction and maintenance of range improvements on national resource lands in Deschutes County administered by the Prineville District, Bureau of Land Management (outside Grazing District No. 05). IN THE MATTER OF CONTRACT WITH BEND FENCE CO.: At this time the Commission entered into contract with Bend Fence Co. which agreed to furnish material and install 770 feet of four -foot chain link fence around Courthouse Annex parking lot for the sum of $2247.00 less $60.00 if County compressor is used. IN THE MATTER OF PARCEL #7, LAND SALE #310: At this time the Commission ordered Sheriff F. C. Sholes to delete Parcel #7 from Land Sale #310 and to have it withdrawn at the time of bidding at the sale advertised to be November 30, 1973.
