It now appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that the
present rate schedules for dumping at the. Deschutes County Landfills are no
longer consistent with the Deschutes County objectives for such disposal
facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said rate shhedulss be
changed as provided below and such changes be made effective as of July 1, 1973.
Rates are as follows:
A. Those persons owning, occupying.or renting their individual
residence in Deschutes County shall be allowed, free disposal privileges at any
Deschutes County operated disposal site for the waste generated upon their
individual residential premises. Owners of rental units transporting and dis-
posing of solid waste accumulated by their tenants shall pay fees as pre-
scribed in gig".
B. All individuals, firms or corporation whether public or private,
except as excluded in "A" above, shall pay disposal rates at the landfills as
follows:
Minimum charge per vehicle $ .50
Pickups & trailers .75
One yard .50 min.
Two yards .50
Three yards .75
Four yards 1.00
Five yards 1.25
Six yards 1.35
Seven yards 1.45
Eight yards 1.55
Nine yards 1.65
Ten,yards 1.75
All loads over ten yards 2.50
Tires .10 each
Appliances .50 each
Septic tank pumpings 1.50 per load

The county may refuse to accept liquid waste because of operational problems,
safety, or public health hazards.
C. Commercial haulers using unattended County sites shall pay a
flat monthly rate based on the average number of loads per month. The rate
shall be in accordance with the fees prescribed in "B above.
A legal contract between the County and the commercial haulers shall
be prepared for all flat rates and at least annually, the flat rate established
shall be reviewed and re -fl gotiated i� on itions Warrant.
