17-122-Order Recorded 7/18/1973IN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES In the Matter of A Uniform Building and Plumbing Code for Deschutes County herein established as County Ordinance No. PL -7 This matter coming before the County Commission upon the Planning Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing on this issue, July 10, 1973, and unanimously recommended approval, and, The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public interest and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County, and, Pursuant to authority vested by O.R.S. Chapter 215, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following be adopted: 1. The Uniform` Building Code 1970 Edition, Volumes I and including Volume II, the Mechanical Code except the "Appendix", and except that such codes shall not apply to accessory buildings used for agricultural purposes unless the structure is used for dwelling purposes or for public occupancy such as arenas, granges, etc. as determined by the County Building Official. 2. The Uniform Plumbing Code 1970 Edition, except that the code shall not apply to accessory buildings used for agricultural purposes unless used for dwelling purposes or for public occupancy such as arenas, granges, etc. as determined by the County Building Official. Done by order of the Board of Commissioners this 18th day of July, 1973, to become effective August 20, 1973.
