PL -5. 17�f This matter coming before the County Commission upon the Planning Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing on this issue, July 24, 1973, and unanimously recommended approval, and, The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public interest and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following amendments be adopted: Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -5, Article 11, Section 11.050, item 1 amended to read as follows: Each notice of a hearing on an amendment to change the zoning map, on a conditional use, or on a variance shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the County not more than 10 days nor less than 5 days prior to the date of the hearing. In addition, at least 5 days prior to the date of the hearing, notices shall be mailed to all owners of property within 250 feet of the exterior boundary of the property for which the application is made for all areas zoned other than A-1, Exclusive Agricultural. Notices shall be mailed to all owners of property in the A-1 Zone within 700 feet of the exterior boundary of the property for which the application is made. For this purpose the names and addresses of the owners as shown on the records of the County Assessor may be used. Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL -5, Article 7, Section 7.020, amended to read as follows: Application for a Conditional Use. A property owner may initiate a request for a conditional use by filing an applica- tion with the Planning Commission using forms prescribed in Article 11. Application forms shall be provided by the County Planning Department. An application to the Planning Commission shall be filed with the Planning Director at least 21 days prior to the Planning Commission meeting, except conditional use requests for mobile homes, which shall be submitted at least 14 days prior to the Planning Commission meeting.
