OF PUBLIC ROAD:
At this time the Commission voted to continue the Hearing on following
described road on May 2, 1973:
The Southerly 60 feet of the NEµ, SWµ; and the Southerly 60 feet
of the NWµ of the SEµ lying West of the old Dalles-California Highway,
all in Sec. 32, Twp. 16 S., R. 12, E., W.M.
IN THE MATTER
OF ZONE CHANGE:
At this time the Commission upon petition of Planning Commission and
recommendation of those present at public hearing adopted Zone Change pursuant
to County Zoning Ordinance PL -5 that area on SEµ NEµ and NEµ SEµ of SWµ of
Sec. 21, Twp. 17 S., R. 12 E., W.M. be Re -Zoned M-1 (light industrial).
IN THE MATTER OF
SNOW REMOVAL:
At this time the Commission Ordered that the Director of Public Works
authorize snow plowing of the Paulina East Lake Road and the Cascade Lakes
Highway.
IN THE MATTER OF
UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC SERVICE AGREEMENT:
At this time the Commission entered into Agreement with Pacific Power and
Light Company to provide underground electric distribution facilities to provide
120/208 volt 3 phase electric service at points of delivery to Deschutes County
Courthouse Annex at sum of $207.00.
IN THE MATTER OF
REDEMPTION DEED:
At this time the Commission conveyed to Alan R. Smith Redemption Deed for
all that real property situated in Deschutes Co., Oregon, described as:
NEµ, NWµ, Sec. 35, Twp. 16 S., R. II E., W.M.
The true and actual consideration for this transfer is $2,004.99.
IN THE MATTER OF ANNEXATIONS
TO RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT #2:
The Commission, on April 18, 1973, held a Hearing, and being that no
persons appeared at Hearing to oppose or object to said annexation, did Order
that the area as described in Commission Minutes dated March 7, 1973 be and
it is hereby annexed to the Rural Fire Protection District #2, Deschutes County,
Oregon.
IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF REAL
PROPERTIES WITH -SEVENTH -DAY ADVENTISTS:
The Commission, on April 5, 1973, held a Hearing with witnesses appearing
and testifying thereat, and being there were few objections, did Order that
Deschutes County grant a Quitclaim Deed to the Western Oregon Conference Assn.
of Seventh-Day Adventists of all its right, title and reversionary interest of
the real property situated in Deschutes County, Oregon, described as Lots 3 and
4, Block 6, Wiestoria, Bend, in exchange for property located at Lot 10, Block A,
Skyline Subdivision, Deschutes Co., Oregon.
At this time the Commission released Quitclaim Deed to Western Oregon
Conference Association of Seventh-Day Adventists of all its right, title and
reversionary interest in that real property situated in Des. Co., described as
Lots 3 and 4, Block 6, Wiestoria, Bend, in exchange for Lot 10, Block A, Skyline
Subdivision, Bend.
At this time the Commission accepted Warranty Deed from W. C. Coyner and
Ruth Coyner for certain real property described as Lot 10, Block A, Skyline
Subdivision, Deschutes County; deed granted in consideration of release by
Deschutes County of reversionary interest held on Lots 3 and 4, Block 6, Wiestoria
Bend, and paid by Western Oregon Conference Association of Seventh-Day Adventists.
True and actual consideration paid for this transfer, stated in dollars, is
$3,000.00.

At this time the Commission approved an overexpenditure of budget for the
Sheriff's Marine Patrol Budget in the amount of $6,600.00 to carry the balance
of the approved $12,000.00 budget to June 30, 1973; this will be reimbursed by
the Oregon State Marine Board.
