The Commission noted that Dave Hoerning, Charles Plummer, Julie Tripp,
David M. Pierce, Lyman C. Johnson, Martin F. Holmes, Mrs. William K. Brokken,
David S. Rasmussen, Mrs. Martin Holmes and Fran Greenlee were present at the
morning session.
IN THE MATTER OF VACATION
OF TUMALO PARK ROAD:
At this time the Commission released the Order to Vacate Tumalo Park
Road as Deed for replacement road was received from Robert Coats. -
IN THE MATTER OF
VACATION OF PUBLIC ROAD:
At this time the Commission voted to continue the Hearing on following
described road on May 16, 1973:
The Southerly 60 feet of the NE4, SW4; and the Southerly 60 feet of the
NW4 of the SE4 lying West of the old Dalles-California Highway, all in
Section 32, Twp. 16 S., R. 12 E., W.M.
IN THE MATTER OF
TRANSFER OF FUNDS:
At this time the Commission Ordered the County Treasurer to transfer
$6,000.00 from the General Fund to the Marine Patrol Budget.
IN THE MATTER OF
UARING ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT:
At this time the Commission approved the establishment of an improvement
district for Quaring Road, La Pine, in Deschutes County, Oregon.
IN THE MATTER OF ANNEXATION
TO CLOVERDALE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT:
At this time the Commission Ordered the property as described in Commission
Minutes of April 4, 1973 to be annexed to the Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection
District. Final on proposed annexation will be held on May 25, 1973, at 10:00 am
in Room 113, Deschutes County Courthouse.
IN THE MATTER OF CHANGE ORDER
ON COURTHOUSE ANNEX ADDITION CONTRACT:
At this time the Commission approved a change order on Courthouse Annex
Addition Contract, increasing the Contract Sum by $2,949.25 to $183,315.79.

IN THE MATTER OF VACATION
OF PORTION OF NORSE DRIVE:
At this time the Commission, acting upon the Commission's own petition,
resolved to vacate a public road, to -wit:
Beginning at the SE corner of the SWr NE4 of said Sec. 6, thence South
89°34' 00" E. along the South line of the SE4 NE -4' of said Sec. 6, 240 feet,
thence North 00°19' 00" E. 44.97 feet to the true point of beginning, thence
continuing North 00°19' 00" E. 46.85 feet to the Easterly Boundry of "Norse
Drive" right-of-way thence South 25'551 00" E. along said right-of-way 68.99 feet
thence North 89°34' 00" West 15.52 feet to a curve to the right, whose long
chord bears North 44'381 30" West, thence along said curve 25.53 feet to the
true point of beginning and being within the Plat of Hidden Valley Mobil Estates
No. I, according to the official map and plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Deshcutes, State of Oregon.
It is therefore, ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified
to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in 3 places along the road to
be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin Board
in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that
Wednesday, June 6,, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. Daylight Savings Time, at the County
Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said
portion of Norse Drive should not be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes
County Road System.

At this time the Commission received "Stipulation for Representation
Election" for Juvenile and Assessor's Departments, designating Mike Ramsey the
third party and setting the election Friday, May Il, 1973, at 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
