IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF WATERWAY ADDITION: The Commission, on May 16, 1973, held a Hearing on its intention to vacate a portion of Waterway Addition as described in the Commission minutes dated April 4, 1973. It is hereby ordered that the portion of Waterway Addition as described shall be and the same is hereby vacated as there were no objections at said Hearing. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF PUBLIC ROAD: At this time the Commission, after final hearing and testimony, voted to deny the petition to vacate public road to -wit: The Southerly 60 feet of the NE4, SW4; and the Southerly 60 feet of the NW4, SE4 lying West of the old Dalles-California Highway, all in Section 32, Township 16 S., Range 12 E., W.M. 1N THE MATTER OF COURTHOUSE ANNEX ADDITION: At this time the Commission accepted the Certificate of Substantial Completion of Courthouse Annex Addition from Contractor Haynes Construction Co., Inc. and Architect Gilbert D. Helling & Associates, giving Contractor 30 days to complete or correct building, dated May 16, 1973. mdC VOL N PAGE 795 IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF STREETS IN THE PLAT OF NORTH RIM: The Commission, on May 16, 1973, held a Hearing and, beings there were no objections nor remonstrances, did Order and Decree that ELEVENTH STREET, TWELFTH STREET, THIRTEENTH STREET, POPLAR AVENUE AND NORTH CANYON DRIVE in the plat of NORTH RIM be established as described in Resolutions dated April 4, 1973, as county roads in Deschutes County. The legal descriptions being given in the Commission minutes dated April 4, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF ANNEXATION OF CLOVERDALE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT: The Commission, on May 25, 1973, held final Hearing on petition for annexation to Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection District, the petition having been approved by the Board of Directors of the Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection District, notice of hearing having been given as by law required, and beings there were no objections nor remonstrances, did Order that the following area be and is hereby annexed to the Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection District: Sec. 33, Twp. 15 S., R. IN THE MATTER OF SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT # I: At this time the Commission Ordered that the tax levy authorized at Special Election held on May 15, 1973 in which majority of votes were favorable (41 to 11), the sum of $10,000 with a maximum rate of levy to be $2.50 per $1,000 true cash value of taxable property be certified to the County Assessor for Deschutes County for extension upon the next assessment roll of the county against the property within the Special Road District No. 1. IN THE MATTER OF HEARING ON FORMATION OF TALL PINES SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT: The Commission, on May 10, 1973, held a Hearing and, beings there were no objections nor remonstrances, did approve the petition for formation of Tall Pines Special Road District (description in attached order) and set the date of the final Hearing on June 6, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. in the office of the Board of Commissioners, Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF CHANGE FUNDS: At this time the Commission adopted the Resolution to establish a change fund in the Sheriff's Department and ordered $25.00 to be transferred from the appropriation for Contingency Fund to the appropriation for Materials and Services of the Sheriff's Department in the General Fund. At this time the Commission adopted the Resolution to establish a change fund in the District Court and ordered $100.00 to be transferred from the appropriation for Contingency Fund to the appropriation for Materials and Services of the District Court in the General Fund. At this time the Commission adopted the Resolution to establish a change fund in the Sheriff's Tax Department and ordered $300.00 to be transferred from the appropriation for Contingency Fund to the appropriation for Materials and Services of the Sheriff's Tax Department in the General Fund. -4- IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the following personnel action: Terminated John Anderson from Road Dept. payroll effective May 9, 1973.
