IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF
TALL PINES SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT:
At this time the Commission ordered the establishment of Tall Pines
Special Road District, describing the exterior boundary and appointing Albert
H. Wilkins, June E. Moss and Percy F. Moss the commissioners for the district.
IN THE MATTER OF
PROPERTY REDEMPTION:
At this time the Commission approved the redemption by Helen M. Brock of
all that real property situated in Deschutes County described as:
North one-half of NE one-quarter of SE one-quarter of NE one-quarter
of Section 18, Township 18 S., Range 13 E., W.M., Deschutes County, Oregon,
for the sum of $1,149.09, being the amount of delinquent taxes to June 13, 1973.
At this time the Commission approved the redemption by Eugene A Moore of
al I that real property situated in Deschutes County described as:
Lots I and 2, Block 18, Townsite of Redmond in Township 15 S., Range 13 E.,
W.M., Section 16, Deschutes County, Oregon,
for the sum of $1,014.09, being the amount of delinquent taxes, interest, and
penalty to July 15, 1973. Deed issued to Eugene A. Moore.
IN THE MATTER OF
VACATION OF NORSE DRIVE:
The Commission, on June 6, 1973, held a Hearing on its intention to
vacate a portion of Norse Drive as described in the Commission minutes dated
May 2, 1973. It is hereby ordered that the portion of Norse Drive as described
shall be and the same is hereby vacated as there were no objections at said
Hearing.
IN THE MATTER OF OPENING BIDS
ON REED MARKET ROAD AND BRIDGES:
At this time the bid opening was conducted by County Clerk, Rosemary
Patterson, for reconstruction of Reed Market Road and bridges. Bids were sub-
mitted by Central Oregon Pavers ($36,247.79), Robert Coats ($35,630.00) and
Bend Aggregate ($30,848.00). The bid was awarded to low bidder, Bend Aggregate,
for $19,298.00 on Reed Market Road and $11,550.00 for bridges.
IN THE MATTER OF
COLLEGE WAY:
At this time, Dr. Frederick H. Boyle, President of Central Oregon Com-
munity College, presented a letter to the Commission explaining the ever-
increasing traffic congestion on College Way and requesting alternate routes
to the college.
IN THE MATTER OF
OUTDOOR MASS GATHERINGS:
At this time the Commission adopted Resolution providing for administration
and enforcement of ORS 433.735 through 990 relating to Outdoor Mass Gatherings.
IN THE MATTER OF
ZONE CHANGE FOR J.D.D.J. Inc.:
At this time the Commission, upon the petition of the Planning Commission
and the unanimous approval at public hearing, approved zone change for J.D.D.J.
Incorporated from A-1 Exclusive Agricultural to R-1, Urban Residential Single
Fami ly.
IN THE MATTER OF ZONE
FOR WARD CORPORATION:

At this time the Commission, upon the petition of the Planning Commission
and the unanimous recommendation at public hearing, approved zone change for
Ward Corporation from A-1 Exclusive Agricultural to R-1 Urban Residential Single
Fami ly.
IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT
WITH CITY OF PRINEVILLE:
At this time the Commission entered into agreement with City of Prineville
concerning the boarding of prisoners in the City of Prineville jail, increasing
the rate to $8.00 per day per prisoner for care and maintenance of said prisoner.

At this time the Commission, upon the petition of the Planning Commission
