R. Flec B. L. Fleck, and Jess Yardley were present at the morning session. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENTS: At this time the Commission appointed F. Mike Ramsey to the Deschutes County Budget Advisory Board to serve a 3 -year term expiring February I, 1976. At this time the Commission appointed Robert H. Schock to the Deschutes County Budget Advisory Board to serve a 3 -year term expiring February I, 1976. At this time the Commission appointed Charles P. Coats, Jr., to the Des- chutes County Budget Advisory Board to serve a 3 -year term expiring Feb. I, 1976. IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF COUNTY ROADS: The Commission, on February 21, 1973, held a Hearing and, beings there were no objections nor remonstrances, did Order and Decree that Pine Knoll Circle, Alpine Circle, Silverado Drive, Saddleback Drive (1), Saddleback Lane, Saddleback Place, Saddleback Drive (2), Cultus Drive and Ponderosa Drive be established as described in Resolutions dated January 17, 1973, as county roads in Deschutes County. The legal descriptions being given in the Commission minutes dated January 17, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF A LEASE OF COUNTY LANDS: At this time the Commission granted a grazing lease to Richard L. Anderson for 440 acres in T. 14 S., R. 13 E., W.M., Sec. 22: NE4SE4, Sec. 23: NW4NW4, SZNW4, all SW4i and Sec. 26: N2NW4, SW4NW4. -3- VcL 16 PA,cE590 IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF PUBLIC ROAD: At this time the Commission acting upon the petition of Glen Williams, Terrebonne, Oregon, resolved to vacate a public road, to -wit: That portion of 13th Street lying between "C" Avenue and Central Avenue. Also that portion of 14th Street between "C" Avenue and Central Avenue. All being in the Townsite of HILLMAN (Terrebonne) according to the official map and plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Deschutes, State of Oregon. It is, therefore, ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in three (3) places along the road to be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that Wednesday, April 4, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, at the County Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for thehearing of objections, if any therebe, why said portions of the Streets should not be vacated as portions of the Deschutes County Road System. IN THE MATTER OF JUITCLAIM DEED: At this time the Commission issued a Quitclaim Deed to Leonard Lundgren for real property situated in Deschutes County described as: Beginning at a point that is South 89 49122" E., 277.60 feet from an X on bedrock 6" below the surface of the ground, said X being the north quarter corner of Sec. 4, T. 18 S., R. 12 E., W.M., and said point being on the north line of Bend Park Addition in Bend, Oregon; thence South 89 49122" E., 1042.97 feet to the NE corner of the NW Quarter of said Sec. 4; thence South 0 07138" W., 2630.44 feet to the SE corner of the SW Quarter of the NE Quarter of said Sec. 4; thence North 89 18146" W., 1314.89 feet to the center of said Sec. 4; thence North 89 18'46" W., to 70.37 feet to the East right of way line of the Oregon Trunk Rail- way; thence North 29 05122" West along said right of way line 854.02 feet to the North line of Woodland Boulevard; thence North 81 27152" E., 165.00 feet; thence East 600.00 feet; thence North 1816.32 feet to the point of beginning, the described tract containing 72 acres, more or less. IN THE MATTER OF WARRANTY DEEDS: At this time the Commission issued a warranty deed to Pika, Inc. for partial release of mortgage under terms of contract dated December 28, 1971, and recorded in Volume 181, Page 175, Deschutes County Deed Records. Lots released were Lot Three in Block Three of Rimrock West Estates and Lot Two in Block Three of Rimrock West Estates, Deschutes County. IN THE MATTER OF CHANGE ORDER IN CONTRACT OF COURTHOUSE ANNEX EXPANSION: At this time the Commission approved a change order in the contract with Haynes Construction Co., Inc., for the construction of Courthouse Annex expansion, increasing the Contract Sum by $3,575.00 to $170,527.54. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH KBND INC.: At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with KBND Inc., authorizing KBND to install, operate and transmit FM radio signals for the sum of $50.00 annually, this amount to be renegotiated at five year intervals. IN THE MATTER OF REQUEST FOR OVEREXPENDITURE OF BUDGET: At this time the Commission approved an overexpenditure of budget for the Sheriff's Department in the amount of $5,300.00 for the following purposes: Maintenance of Sheriff's autos ($4,000), Supplies ($500) and Uniforms ($800), and in the amount of $3,300.00 to purchase a new vehicle to replace the 1970 Plymouth. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT OF AGENT OF RECORD: At this time the Commission appointed Bend Insurance Company as Agent of Record for Inland Marine Contractor's Equipment Policy beginning July I, 1973. -4- There being no further business, Commission session was adjourned. Termination of Gregory W. Jones from J -J Boys Ranch effective February 24, 1973. Placed Robert F. Proctor on J -J Boys Ranch payroll as Night Counselor at $150.00 per month effective March I, 1973. Placed Pat Harms on Courthouse payroll at $332.00 per month effective March I, 1973, as she has completed six months probation. Placed Homer H.
