At this time the Commission approved and adopted the official Zoning Map
#ZM-4, zoning those areas within the confines of the following legal description:
The area between the city limits of the City of Sisters and the Urban
Growth boundary as established by the 1990 Comprehensive Plan of Deschutes County.
More particularly described as Sections 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10 of Township 15 South
Range 10 East, W.M. and the South i of Sections 33 and 34 of Township 14 South,
Range 10 East, W.M.
IN THE MATTER OF SHELTERS
IN PUBLIC STRUCTURES:
At this time the Commission resolved that fallout protection be recommended
for all public buildings where other factors do not make it unnecessary or
impractical.
IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENTS TO
DES. CO. ZONING AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCES:
At this time the Commission, upon the petition of the Planning Commission
and the recommended approval of those present at public hearing, ordered the
amendments to Des. Co. Zoning Ordinance #PL -5 and the Des. Co. Subdivision
Ordinance #PL -2 be adopted.
IN THE MATTER OF NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING:
At this time the Commission gave notice of Public Hearing to be held at
10:00 a.m. on April 5, 1973, in the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex Conference
Room, on the intention of Deschutes County to exchange its reversionary interest
in property located at Lots 3 and 4, Block 6, Wiestoria Addition, Bend, for
property owned by Western Oregon Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, located
at Lot 10, Block A, Skyline Addition, Deschutes County.

VACATION OF PUBLIC ROAD:
At this time the Commission, acting upon the petition of Nicholas Cox and
David Rasmussen, Bend, resolved to vacate a public road, to -wit:
The Southerly 60 feet of the NE4 SWµ; and the Southerly 60 feet of the NWµ
of the SE4 lying West of the old Dalles-California Highway, all in Section 32,
Township 16 S., Range 12, E., W.M.
It is, therefore, ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified
to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in three places along the road
to be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin
Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that
Wednesday, April 18, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, at the County
Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said por-
tion of the road should not be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes County Road
