IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE WITH M. R. S. CORPORATION: At this time the Commission held a hearing on the proposed exchange of properties with the M. R. S. Corp. After some discussion by those present, Commissioner McCann moved that the county proceed with the exchange as proposed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Schinkei. IN THE MATTER OF PARCEL 13, IN LAND SALE # 308: At this time the Commission Ordered the Sheriff to delete Parcel 13 from Land Sale #308. -3- IN THE MATTER OF CANCELLATION OF LAND SALE #308: At this time the Commission Ordered offered and cancel Land Sale #308. VOL 16 FACE 159 the Sheriff to withdraw all parcels IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: At this time the Commission Ordered the refund of taxes from the General Fund: Robert Carter Assessment At this time the Commission Ordered F. the following refund of taxes: County Clerk to make the following error $120.33 C. Sawyer Paid on wrong property IN THE MATTER OF LEASE OF COUNTY -OWNED LAND: At this time the Commission entered into a son for the NWkSE4, and EZSEµ of Sec. 4, Twp. 18 IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE TOWNSITE OF HILLMAN: $ 7.40 grazing lease with James Patter - S., R. 13 E.,W.M. The Commission, on September 6, 1972 held a Hearing on its intention to vacate a portion of the Townsite of Hillman as described in the Commission minutes dated August 2, 1972. It is hereby ordered that the portion as described shall be and the same is hereby vacated as there were no objections at said Hearing. IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE APPLICATIONS: At this time the Commission approved the following applications for beer licenses: Baker, Jack K. et ux Jones, Jeffrey D. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: Baker's Grocery, La Pine The Inn Shop At this time the Commission approved the following personnel actions: Placed Dr. Tom Waters on the Family Counseling payroll as a Psychologist at $100 a day, two days per month, effective October 20, 1972. Placed Irene Grimm on the District Court payroll as a vacation replacement Clerk at $3 per hour effective Sept. 28, 1972 thru Oct. 25, 1972. Termination of Robert Giazebrook from Solid Waste effective Sept. 30, 1972. Termination of Keith Bassett from the Road Dept. effective Oct. 27, 1972. Termination of Don Knauer from the Road Dept. effective Oct. 31, 1972. Docked Chris Williams four days salary off regular Marine Dept. Salary budget Placed Ronald L. DeVine on the Sheriff's payroll as a Deputy Sheriff at $6 per hour for forest patrol as per Forest Service contract. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PUBLIC ROAD: At this time the Commission acting upon the petition of Patrick Gisler, Bend, Oregon resolved to vacate a public road, to -wit: The South 30 feet of the SWk of Sec. 22, Twp. 21 S., Range 10 E.,W.M. It is, therefore, Ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in three (3) places along the road to be vacated and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that Wednesday, December 6, 1972, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, at the County Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said portion of the road should not be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes County Road System.
