16-169-Order Recorded 9/6/1972IN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES VOL PAGE 169 In the Matter ) of ) O R D E R Vacation of a Portion of the ) Townsite of Hillman (Terrebonne) ) This matter having come before the Commission on the 6th day of September, 1972, upon the petition of Clayton E. Heisler and Joanne V. Heisler, Terrebonne, Deschutes County, Oregon, requesting the vacation of a portion of Hillman, to -wit: All of Block 158 and Block 159; and that portion of Block 146 lying North of Smith Rock Road; and that portion of Block 160 lying North of Smith Rock Road, along with that portion of 17th Street lying North of Smith Rock Road and terminating at the Oregon Trunk Railroad right-of-way, that portion of "B" Street lying East of the Oregon Trunk Railroad right-of-way and commencing at the Oregon Trunk Railroad right-of- way and terminating at the Westerly right-of-way line of 18th Street and that portion of "C" Avenue lying east of the Oregon Trunk Railroad right-of-way com- mencing at the right-of-way and terminating at the Westerly right-of-way line of 18th Street, all being in the Townsite of Hillman, according to the official map and plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Deschutes, State of Oregon. That there is on file and of record in the Deschutes County Clerk's office the approval of the said Deschutes County Board of Commissioners, in and to the said vacation as herein set forth, That there is also on file and of record the certificate of Charles L. Plummer, Deschutes County Roadmaster, swearing to the placing and posting of notice of the aforesaid vacation on three places within the limits of the area to be vacated, and one notice posted on the Bulletin Board at the Deschutes County Courthouse. That the reasons have been set forth by the petitioner for the necessity of the vacation which has been petitioned, and it appearing to the Commission that the petition has been filed with the County Clerk for thirty days or more previous to this date, and the Commission being fully advised in the premises, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED That the above described portion of Hillman, located in Deschutes County, Oregon shall be and the same is hereby vacated, as there were no objections at such Hearing held this day.
