Vacation of Public Road )
This matter having come before the Commission on the 21st day of
March, 1973, upon the petition of Robert L. Coats, Bend, Deschutes County,
Oregon, requesting the vacation of a public road, to -wit:
A strip of land 50 feet in width, being 25 feet on each side
of the following described centerline: Beginning at a point in Johnson
Road N 01'21f W, 1303.30 feet from the corner of Sections II, 12, 13 and
14, T. 17S., R. 11 E., W.M.; thence N 89°49' E, 2700.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 20'56' E, 302.55 feet; thence S 11'281 W,
138.45 feet; thence S 36 56' W, 202.10 feet; thence S 37 44' E, 162.00
feet; thence N 57°02' E, 1042.90 feet; thence N 36"31' E, 220.50 feet;
to a point 230.90 feet West of the Southeast corner of the NW4 of the
SEk of Section 12, T. 17S, R. II E., W.M.
That there is on file and of record in the Deschutes County
Clerk's office the approval of the said Deschutes County Board of Commis-
sioners, in and to the said vacation as herein set forth,
That there is also on file and of record the certificate of
Charles L. Plummer, Deschutes County Roadmaster, swearing to the placing
and posting of notice of the aforesaid vacation on three places within
the limits of the area to be vacated, and one notice posted on the Bulletin
Board at the Deschutes County Courthouse.
That the reasons have been set forth by the petitioner for the
necessity of the vacation which has been petitioned, and it appearing
to the Commission that the petition has been filed with the County Clerk
for thirty days or more previous to the 21st day of March, 1973, and the
Commission being fully advised in the premises,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED That the above described
portion of Tumalo Park Road, located in Deschutes County, Oregon shall
be and the same is hereby vacated, as there were no objections at such
Hearing held Wednesday, March 21, 1973.
