IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT
TO DOG CONTROL BOARD:
At this time the Commission appointed Stacy L. Johnson to serve on the
Deschutes County Dog Control Board for a two-year term expiring November 1, 1974.
IN THE MATTER OF RESALE
OF COUNTY -OWNED PROPERTY:
WHEREAS, Deschutes County, Oregon is the owner of the real property des-
cribed (see attached) and the Board of Commissioners deems it for the best
interest of said County to Sell this real property:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, That the Sheriff be and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to prepare Land Sale No. 309 to sell the real property in the manner
provided by law for not less than the minimum price set opposite each tract, plus
cost of advertising and recording the deed.
IN THE MATTER OF
RESIGNATION:
At this time the Commission accepted the resignation of Gilbert D. Helling
from the County Budget Board and the Board of Equalization effective Nov. 10, 1972.
IN THE MATTER OF
ACCEPTANCE OF BID:
At this time the Commission accepted the $2,509 bid of Bend Cabinet & Fix-
tures for equipment and furnishings in the District Courtroom and office.

QUITCLAIM DEED:
At this time the Commission issued a Quitclaim Deed to A. C. Harrington and
Amy L. Harrington for Lots 8 and 9, Block 4, Mill Addition.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERSONNEL ACTION:
At this time the Commission approved the following personnel actions:
Termination of John Marken from the Road Dept. effective August 25, 1972.
Placed Donald Kentner on the Road Dept. payroll as a Maintenance Man I at
$517 per month effective November 13, 1972.
Placed Carrol Sheraden on the Road Dept. payroll as a Maintenance Man II at
$599 per month effective November 13, 1972.
Placed Joyce S. Johnson on the Clerks payroll as a deputy clerk at $2.15
per hour effective November 14, 1972.

IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF
A PORTION OF MYRTLEWOOD STREET:
The Commission, on October 4, 1972 held a Hearing on its intention to
vacate a portion of Myrtlewood Street as described in the Commission minutes
dated August 16, 1972. It is hereby ordered that the portion as described shall
be and the same is hereby vacated as there were no objections at said Hearing.
IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTIONS
TO ESTABLISH COUNTY ROADS:
At this time the Commission made Resolutions of its intention to establish
county roads in Deschutes County, Oregon, described as follows:
BUCKSKIN COURT - All that portion of Buckskin Court whose right-of-way is 60 feet,
30 feet each side of centerline according to the official plat thereof on file in
the office of the County Clerk.
CIMARRON DRIVE - All that portion of Cimarron Drive whose right-of-way is 60 feet,
30 feet each side of centerline according to the official plat thereof on file in
the office of the County Clerk.
LARIAT LANE - All that portion of Lariat Lane whose right-of-way is 60 feet, 30
feet each side of centerline according to the official plat thereof on file in
the office of the County Clerk.
LATIGO COURT - All that portion of Latigo Court whose right-of-way is 60 feet, 30
feet each side of centerline according to the official plat thereof on file in
the office of the County Clerk.
RODEO COURT - All that portion of Rodeo Court whose right-of-way is 60 feet, 30
feet each side of centerline according to the official plat thereof on file in
the office of the County Clerk.
SCENIC DR., MOUNTAIN DR., & MEADOW LANE - A portion of Scenic Dr.; Mountain Dr.
from State Highway 20 to Scenic Dr.; and Meadow Lane, Deschutes County, Oregon,
all within Assessment District #i.
And it is Ordered that the Co. Roadmaster or his duly qualified deputy shall
give notice of these Resolutions by posting true copies thereof, properly certi-
fied to as such by the Co. Clerk, at the place of holding Co. Court and also at
three public places in the vicinity of said proposed roads 30 days previous to
the consideration of these Resolutions by the Board of Comm. notifying all per-
sons concerned that said Resolutions will be considered and passed upon by this
Board at a meeting on the 6th day of December, 1972, at which time the Board will
consider any objections or remonstrances which may be filed on account of said
proposed roads.
