At this time the Commission accepted the following bids for used co. cars: 166 Ford, 4 -door $150 Del Yates 163 Ford $130 Vernon Olson 166 Jeep Wagoneer $427.97 Beverly Mundon IN THE MATTER OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DIST. #I: At this time the Commission, pursuant to ORS 371.645, set 10:30 a.m. on the 17th day of January, 1973 as the time and date for the hearing of objections to the assessments as proposed for Local Improvement Dist. #1. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PUBLIC ROAD: The Commission, on December 6, vacate a public road as described in 1972. Sholes as Tax Collector to make the following refund of taxes: Dept. of Veterans' Affairs Overpayment of taxes $635.30 Mortgage Bancorporation Double payment of taxes $185.41 IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the following personnel actions: Termination of JoAnne Cordis from Deschutes County Library effective Dec. 26, 1972. Placed Patrick C. Ewing on Juvenile payroll as House Parent at $340 per month effective Dec. 12, 1972. Placed Conrad Hofstedt on Solid Waste payroll as Caretaker at $175 per month effective Dec. 21, 1972. Termination of Marline Reid from Tax Dept. effective Jan. I, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: At this time the Commission granted permits to the following: Pacific Northwest Bell - #20899, #79208, #79256 Hap Taylor - install pipeline William H.
