FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES
In the matter of Approval of Proposed
Subsurface Sewage Disposal System
prior to. Transfer and Sale of Land
pursuant to OAR, Chapter 333, Sections
41 -001 to 41 -045.
RESOLUTION
This matter comes before the undersigned Board of Commissioners
upon the recommendation of Dr. David S. Spence, Deschutes County
Health Officer, for approval of procedures relative to determination
of suitability of land for subsurface sewage disposal and establish-
ment of a fee therefor; and
IT APPEARING that the Deschutes County Health Officer, through
the Sanitation Section of the Health Department, is required by
administrative rules of the State Health Division contained in OAR,
Chapter 333, Sections 41 -001 to 41 -045, to make investigation and
inspection of lots and parcels of land proposed to be transferred
and to determine the feasibility of proposed methods of subsurface
sewage disposal; and
WHEREAS, said determination - requires on -site inspections and
investigation, including testing and record research and recording
and; whereas, said actiO s prOVide a direct: beneficial service to
the parties involved and; whereas, procedures and forms have been
proposed by the Health Officer for rocessing these requirements;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the forms afd,pro-
cedures proposed by the Deschutes County Health Officer for process-
ing site evaluations for subsurface sewage disposal systems under
OAR, Chapter 333, Sections 41°001 to 41- 045,,be, and the same are
hereby, approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a_fee of $15..00 (Fifteen Dollars)
be, and is hereby, established to be paid to the Environmental
Health Division of the Deschutes County Health Department for
performance of said inspection and evalu tion services.
