R E S O L U T I O N

This matter coming before the Board of County Commissioners upon the
petition of Gary E. and Dorothy M. Lewis, and Ramon L. and Margretta B. Huff,
Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon, requesting the vacation of a portion of
Myrtlewood Street.
And it further appearing that it is necessary to consider this vacation
for reasons of maintenance and access; and the Board of County Commissioners
feels this change should be made to serve the interests of all landowners in this
area,
IT IS, THEREFORE, HEREBY RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Board
of County Commissioners to vacate the following described road, to -wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly right -of -way line of
Craven Road with the easterly right -of -way line of Myrtlewood Street;
thence N 0° 43' 34" E along the easterly right -of -way line of Myrtle -
wood Street 174.06 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence north-
westerly 83.78 feet along the arc of a tangent curve to the left
through a central angle of 120° 00' 22" having a radius of 40 feet;
thence leaving said curve on a non - radial line N 0° 43' 24" E 90.48
feet; thence N 89° 59' 44" E 60.00 feet; thence 5 0° 43' 34" W
135.95 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED THAT copies of this Resolution, duly certified
to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in. three (3) places along the
road to be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin
Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that
Wednesday, October 4, 1972, at 10:00 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, at the County
Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said portion
of the road should not be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes County Road System.
