Installing a ) pipeline ) VOL 15 MEW A permit is granted by Deschutes County to Patrick Gisle to install a pipeline on or across Deschutes &unty right-of-way. A detailed description and map of this operation must be provided on the reverse side of this sheet. This permit is subject to the following gen- eral specifications and is revocable at any time upon written notice by the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PARTICULAR INSTALLATIONS Installing Pipe Line Parallel: All pipe lines running parallel with the road shall be in the existing ditch line, or no less than three (3) feet from the edge of the existing pavement edge. All pipe lines must be installed to a depth to be no less than two (2) feet and properly backfilled to the original grade line and with no. obstructions to the drainage area. Permittee shall be responsible for any or all damages o the existing pavement, and shoulders or other objects or areas within t e right-of-way. �_i "_ i '' ice '" ' U I I Ct L. In all cases where a w ter 1', is installed in -'a trans- verse direction the water pipe must be instal within a larger pipe which size shall be no less than six (6) inches in mer. Backfilling and Pavinq: The permittee shall be required to pr y backfill the trench in such a manner as to guarantee a well compact , stabliized sub- ase prior to paving. The pave- ment must be replaced its original line, crown, and grade with an asphalt mixture to conf_or-m—with the surrounding road bed. The area of installation must be k smooth for the traveling public at all times. The permittee will be regvr� ed at all times to take every precaution to protect the traveling -p4bliG. All signs and traffj-� shall be :�urHished by the perfflittee. In regard to other utility installations, such as gas lines, telephone lines and electric conduits, all the general specifications shall apply if they are to be run under ground, with one exception: It would not be necessary to have these lines within a larger pipe when crossing the right-of-way.
