Div. for construction of a bridge over the Squaw Creek Canal Bridge Section on the Three Creeks Lake Road (FAS 853). IN THE MATTER OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT: At this time the Commission renegotiated purchase agreements with Robert L. and Joyce E. Coats placing the following three land sale parcels: Lot I, Sec. 4, T19S, R16EWM (40.94 acres) Easement for existing public road 50' in width. Lot 2, Sec. 4, T19S, R16EWM (40.82 acres) Lot 3, Sec. 4, T19S, R16EWM (40.69 acres) under a common contract with the principal sum of $12,900.00 to be paid in the following manner: $3,495.54 in cash, and the balance in three equal annual pay- ments of $3,583.65 each including interest at 7%. IN THE MATTER OF WATERMASTER AGREEMENTS: At this time the Commission entered into Agreements with Crook and Jefferson counties for compensation of the Deputy Watermaster, Water District No. 11, for fiscal year July I, 1972 to June 30, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF FEE FOR VACATION OF PLATS OR R/W IN UNINCORPORATED AREAS: At this time the Commission Ordered, in accordance with ORS 271.010, Sec. I, sub (2), that a filing fee of $100 shall accompany all petitions for vacation of plats and/or rights-of-way, in their entirety or portions there of, in unin- corporated areas of Deschutes County. IN THE MATTER OF BID FOR PAINTING ROAD DEPT. BUILDINGS: At this time the Commission accepted the $5,280 bid of Marvin E. Westfall for painting Road Dept. buildings. IN THE MATTER OF BID FOR REMODELING DISTRICT COURTROOM & OFFICE: At this time the Commission accepted the low bid of $1,737 from E. M. Waldron, Sr. for remodeling the District Courtroom and office. IN THE MATTER OF REDEMPTION DEED: At this time the Commission and Edith L. Harmon for Lots 7, 8, for the sum of $197.82. issued a redemption deed to Darrell M. Harmon and 13 of Blk. 4, Hastings Addition to Bend IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE RENEWALS: At this time the Commission approved the following beer license renewals: Powell, L.W., A.M. & E.R. Wilderness Inn RA IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFER OF COUNTY ROADS TO CITY OF BEND: At this time the Commission transfered to the City of Bend the following portions of county roads: Cleveland St. from Hill St. east to Highway 97 E. 15th St. south of Bear Creek Rd. to the City Limits Newport St. from 15th St. to College Way & north on College Way to the City Limits line at the College. IN THE MATTER OF IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT: At this time the Commission approved the establishment of an improvement CEI C VOL 15 PAGE 987 district for the following: A portion of Scenic Dr.; Mt. Drive from State Hwy. 20 to Scenic Dr. and Meadow Lane in Deschutes County, Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the following personnel actions: Placed Wayne Teschner on the Road Dept. payroll as a Maintenance Man II at $599 per month effective September 6, 1972. Placed William 0. Christianson on the J -J Boys' Ranch payroll as a Director at $884 per month effective September 5, 1972. Termination of Leonard Parker and Chris Steele from the Road Dept. effective August 31, 1972. Granted the following merit increases to Road Dept. employees: Keith Bassett, 517; Robert Grogan,$728; Harold Kentner, $728, effective Sept. I, 1972. Approved reclassification of Otis Green to a Maintenance Man it at $599 per month effective September I, 1972. Termination of Brent Linder from the Planning Dept. effective Sept. 17,1972.
