IN THE MATTER OF PERMISSION TO DISPLAY PAINTINGS: At this time the Commission granted permission to Mrs. Naomi H. Baker to display paintings on the wall space of the third floor of the courthouse. Des. County assumes no responsibility for loss through theft or damage, and reserves the right to request removal of all pictures at anytime. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT: At this time the Commission appointed Keith Smith to serve on the Des. County Dog Control Board for a two-year term expiring May I, 1972. IN THE MATTER OF INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION DISTRICT OFFICE: At this time the Commission, due to increasing demands for additional space in the courthouse, Ordered that the Deschutes County Intermediate Education District vacate the office space now being used in the courthouse by August I, 1972. IN THE MATTER OF AN AGREEMENT: At this time the Commission signed the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council Cooperative Planning Agreement as approved by the cities. IN THE MATTER OF PETITION ON KNOTT ROAD: At this time the Commission tabled a Petition received on the Knott Road vacation pending notification of opponents. IN THE MATTER OF SNOW REMOVAL: At this time the Commission Ordered the Department of Public Works to proceed with snow removal on East and Paulina Lake, and the Cascade Lakes highway on county roads only. -3- .G IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF HINKLE ROAD: VOL 15, PAGE 558 At this time the Commission did Order and Decree that Hinkle Road be established as described in a Resolution dated March I, 1972, as a county road in Deschutes County. The legal description being given in the Commission minutes dated March I, 1972 in said Resolution. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: At this time the Commission Ordered F. C. Mrs. Jensen will have satisfactorily conpleted her six -months probation period on that date. IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE APPLICATION: At this time beer license: Audia, Joseph IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: the Commission approved the following application for a L. SunRiver Country Store G11 At this time the Commission granted permits #78815, 78817, 78834, 78840, 78823, 78822, and 78675 to Pacific Northwest Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLING PIPELINES: At this time the Commission granted permits to: Terrebonne Domestic Water District, Freda A. McDaniel, Key TV Inc., and United Telephone Co. of NW to install pipelines on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTING ACCESSES: At this time the Commission granted permits to: R. L. Durr, Mrs. T. H. Hopper, Edward M. Grove, and Wayne Roan to construct accesses on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF MOVING BUILDINGS: At this time the Commission granted permits to: Joe Akin, and three to Carl Spencer to move buildings on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. -4- IN THE MATTER OF LAND EXCHANGE AT TUMALO STATE PARK: At this time the Commission signed a Resolution transferring vacated rights-of-way at the Tumalo Park Bridge site to the Oregon State Highway Comm. IN THE MATTER OF RESALE OF COUNTY -OWNED PROPERTY: WHEREAS, Deschutes County, Oregon is the owner of the real property described (see attached) and the Board of County Commissioners deems it for the best interest of said County to sell this real property: THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, That the Sheriff be and he hereby is, authori- zed and directed to prepare Land Sale No. 307 to sell the real property in the manner provided by law for not less than the minimum price set opposite each tract, plus cost of advertising and recording the deed.
