IN THE MATTER OF FORECLOSURE PUBLICATION: At this time the Commission designated the Redmond Spokesman as the official publication for the 1972 property foreclosure list. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT TO BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE: At this time the Commission appointed Carl Backstrom to serve a three- year term on the Budget Advisory Committee. The term will expire January I, 1975. IN THE MATTER OF SNOW REMOVAL: At this time the Commission Ordered that the Director of Public Works authorize removal of snow on Vandevert Way as long as Mr. or Mrs. Vandevert continues to live on the ranch. Terms of a verbal agreement made in 1961 between the county and the Vandeverts' whereby in exchange for right-of-way the county agreed to plow the snow off the road from the highway to the Vande- vert ranch house. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: At this time the Commission Ordered F. C. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: approved the following application for a Twin Lakes Resort At this time the Commission Ordered that Jay E. Langley, Sanitarian I be advanced to Step 5 and be granted a salary increase to $728 per month effective February I, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the request of Lorin Morgan to place Kenneth A. Detroit on the payroll of the Planning Department as an Associate Planner at a salary of $802 per month effective March I, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the request of Dr. David Spence to place Scott Fitch on the payroll of the Health Department as a Sanitarian II at a salary of $764 per month effective February 2, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the request of Russell Chase to adjust Betty J. Clark's salary to $425 per month effective February I, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the termination of Roger L. Rhodes from the J -J Boy's Ranch effective February 1, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the termination of David H. Burton from the J -J Boy's Ranch effective February 25, 1972. 000 VOL 15 P�fL 307 At this time the Commission approved the request of Eric Larson to place Gregory W. Jones on the payroll of the J -J Boy's Ranch as a part-time Cook and Night Supervisor at a salary of $360 per month effective February 14, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the termination of Nell Rynerson from the Tax Department effective February 16, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the request of William F. Jones to place Wendy L. Larson on the payroll of the Juvenile Department as a Secretary I (Step 1, Range 6) at a salary of $2.15 per hour effective March I, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the termination for physical disa- bility reasons of Hobert Starr from the Veterans' Service Office effective March I, 1972. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLING PIPELINE: At this time the Commission granted a permit to the City of Bend to install a cast iron water pipe line in Newport Avenue. At this time the Commission granted a permit to the City of Bend to install a 10" ductile iron pipe in College Way. There being no further business, Commission session was adjourned.
