two-year terms expiring June I, 1974.

At this time the Commission Ordered Sheriff F. C. Sholes to delete from
Land Sale #307, Parcels II, 12, and 13, and that they be withdrawn at the time
of bidding at the sale advertised to be June 9, 1972.
IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF
DEPOSITS FOR LAND SALE #307:
At this time the Commission Ordered that the County Clerk refund to D. T.
Merritt the sum of $60 paid as deposits on Parcels II, 12, and 13 of Land Sale
#307.

At this time the Commission approved the following application for a

IN THE MATTER OF
R/W AGREEMENT:
At this time the Commission executed a Right -of -Way Agreement to Pacific
Gas Transmission Company to install a pipeline across Deschutes County land in
the WINW4, Sec. 17, Twp. 17 S., R. 13 E.,W.M.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERSONNEL ACTION:
At this time the Commission approved the request of Dave Hoerning to
place the following on the Road Dept. payroll: Steve Halligan, Paul Plath,
John Marken, and Jeff Hall all at $2.34 per hour; Chris Steele at $2.58 per
hour; and Leonard Parker at $2.71 per hour, all as summer Maintenance Men 11s;
and Carroll Penhollow at $660 per month as a summer Maintenance Man 11.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Jeanne Crane from
the Clerk's Office, effective May 31, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to place
Randall C. Gonyer and Fred M. Newton on the payroll of the Sheriff's Department
as part-time marine deputies at $3 per hour effective April 29, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Richard E. Gathe-
rer from the Juvenile Department effective May 26, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of William F. Jones to
place David H. Burton on the Juvenile Dept. payroll as an Intensive Counselor
at a salary of $600 per month effective May 24, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Robert Glazebrook
effective May 15, 1972, and Andrew Rhoades effective May 17, 1972, from the
Solid Waste Department.

At this time the Commission approved a salary increase for Vivian McCloske
to $367 per month effective May 23, 1972. Mrs. McCloskey will have satisfactor-
ily completed her six -months probation period on that date.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Ruth Schollmeyer
from the Library effective June I, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Richard Tuffli to
place Kathryn Praegitzer on the Library payroll as a Library Clerk at a salary
of $317 per month effective June 1, 1972.
IN THE MATTER OF
ESTABLISHMENT OF
TUMALO PARK ROAD:
The Commission, on May 17, 1972, held a Hearing and beings there were
no objections nor remonstrances, did Order and Decree that Tumalo Park Road
be established, as described in a Resolution dated April 5, 1972, as a county
road in Deschutes County. The legal description being given in the Commission
minutes dated April 5, 1972 in said Resolution.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERMIT GRANTED:
At this time the Commission granted permit #78840 to Pacific Northwest
Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
CONSTRUCTING AN
ACCESS:
At this time the Commission granted a permit to Delwin Helmhout to con-
struct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
MOVING BUILDINGS:
At this time the Commission granted two permits to Carl Spencer to move
buildings on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
At this time the Commission granted a permit to John Hastings to move
a building on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
INSTALLING A PIPELINE:
At this time the Commission granted permits to George B. Trout and Marlon
Jannuzzi to install pipelines on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
At this time the Commission granted permits to the City of Bend to install
a 6" cast iron water pipe in Wells Acres Road, and an 8" cast iron water pipe
in Jones Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
DEEDS OF COUNTY -
OWNED LANDS:
At this time the Commission executed the following Deeds for county -owned
lands:
Deschutes Co. to Richard R. Scheibner: The S. 420' of E. 520" of SE4NEI'r,
Sec. 14, Twp. 17 S., R. 12 E.,W.M., lying N. of Hamehook Rd. (4.15 acres, more
or less) For the sum of $1,325.00.
