OF LEASE FEE PAYMENT:
At this time the Commission Ordered that the County Clerk refund the
credit balance of the Newell P. Baker lease account in the amount of $154.22.

ON COUNTY -OWNED LAND:
At this time the Commission entered into a grazing lease with Howard
Morgan for NEaNEJ, SjNEj, SEDC Sec. 17, Twp. 15 S., R. II EWM.
IN THE MATTER OF HAULING
GRAVEL TO PISTOL RANGE:
At this time the Commission Ordered that the County Road Dept. haul
gravel to the State Police pistol range site on county land at Redmond.
IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT
OF COUNTY ROADS:
The Commission, on April 5, 1972, held a Hearing and beings there were
no objections nor remonstrances, did Order and Decree that BONNIE ROAD,
CHEROKEE LANE, CHEYENNE ROAD, DAY ROAD EXTENSION, EVANS ROAD, FINLEY BUTTE ROAD,
FIRST STREET, MAIN STREET, MORSON STREET, and ROAD 3191 be established, as
described in Resolutions dated March 1, 1972, as county roads in Deschutes
County. The legal descriptions being given in the Commission minutes dated
March I, 1972 in said Resolutions.
Having received six objections to the establishment of Hinkle Road, and
no one appearing in support thereof, the Commission withdrew the Order for
Establishment of this road.

WRECKING LICENSE RENEWAL:
At this time the Commission approved the following application for a
an auto wrecking license renewal:

At this time the Commission approved the termination of Linda K. Blair
from the Tax Department, effective April 15, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Dave Hoerning to
place Doris Thornton on the Road Department payroll as a Sec. 2 at a salary
of $405 per month effective April 10, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the adjustment of Russell Q. Chase's
salary to $585 per month effective April 4, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to
place Ted Casey on the Sheriff's Department payroll as a Deputy Sheriff at a
salary of $599 per month effective March 22, 1972.
At this time the Commission ordered the salary of Ronald D. Bain, care-
taker of the county fairgrounds be increased to $500 per month effective
March 1, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Dave Hoerning to
place Otis W. Green on the Solid Waste Dept. payroll as a Maintenance Man at
a salary of $492 per month effective April 12, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Emerson Whitney
from the Solid Waste Department effective March 31, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Charles Plummer to
place Robert K. Glazebrook on the Solid Waste Dept. payroll as a Caretaker at
a salary of $171.23 per month effective March 18, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Charles Plummer to
place Andrew J. Rhoades of the Solid Waste Dept. payroll as a Part-time care-
taker at a salary of $1 per hour effective April 4, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Naomi Lynn from
Circuit Court effective April 14, 1972.
At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to place
Mary A. Burgi on the Homestead Act payroll of the Tax Dept. as an Account.
Clerk 1 at a salary of $385 per month effective April 17, 1972.

At this time the Commission made a Resolution of its intention to estab-
lish a county road in Deschutes County, Oregon, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Johnson Road N 1°21' N, 1303.30' from
the corner of Sections 11-12-13-14 T17SRII E.W.M. which point is
S 45047' W, 17.4' from the S 1/16 corner on Sec. line and running
thence N 89049' E, 2567.641; thence on a 300 curve to the right of
198.99' radius, the delta of which is 69019' for 231.551; thence S
20 56' E, 100.831; thence on a 24° curve to the right, the delta of
which is 32°24' for 135.001, the radius of which is 238.731; thence
S 11028' W, 4.35'; thence on a 200 curve to the right of 286.48'
radius for 127.33' the delta of which is 250281; thence S 36056' W,
56.441; thence on a 540 curve to the left of 106.10' radius for 138.271,
the delta of which is 74°40'; thence S 37044' E, 1.211; thence on a
66° curve to the left of 86.81' radius for 129.14' the delta of which
is 850141; thence N 57°02' E, 841.341; thence on a 100 curve to the
left of 572.96' radius for 205.171, the delta of which is 20°31';
thence N 36°31' E, 137.681; thence on a 15°00' curve to the right of
381.97' radius for 211.671; the delta of which is 310451; thence N

And it is ordered that the County Roadmaster or his duly qualified deputy
shall give notice of this Resolution by posting true copies thereof, properly
certified to as such by the County Clerk, at the place of holding County Court
and also at three public places in the vicinity of said proposed road thirty
days previous to the consideration of this Resolution by the Board of County
Commissioners passed upon by this Board at a meeting on the 17th day of May,
1972, at which time the Board will consider any objections or remonstrances whic
may be filed on account of said proposed road.
