IN THE MATTER OF CYRUS EXCHANGE: At this time the Commission held a Hearing for any objections thereto the exchange of properties between Deschutes County and Willard & Mae Cyrus. It was Ordered that a deed for the proposed exchange be drawn as there were no objections. mm IN THE MATTER OF BID OPENING: vel ?pr;F 84 At this time the bid opening was conducted by the County Clerk, Rosemary Patterson, for certain equipment for the Deschutes County Road Department. The bid was awarded to Robberson Ford for three (3) dump trucks, $15,891 net; and four (4) 3/4 -ton pickups, $10,244. IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS: At this time the Commission Ordered that the Deschutes County Treasurer transfer all funds on hand at the time the Sisters Rural Fire District was dissolved to the Sisters Rural Fire District as established by the special election held October 5, 1970, along with any prior years taxes which may be paid in the future. IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS: At this time the Commission Ordered that the Deschutes County Treasurer transfer $150,000.00 from the General Road Fund to the Road Reserve Fund. IN THE MATTER OF LEASE ON COUNTY LAND: At this time the Commission approved a grazing lease on county land to Herbert Hunt. IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE RENEWALS: At this time the Commission approved the following renewal applications for beer licenses: Tadevic, George T. & Kathleen M. Hiway Tavern RMBC Whistle Stop, La Pine PA Brothers Store, Brothers PA Bend Golf Club DB At this time the Commission approved the request of Walt Genes to place Robert Reed on payroll of the Courthouse as a Custodian at a salary of $405 per month effective October 19, 1971, under the provisions of the Emergency Employment Act of 1971. At this time the Commission approved the request of Ralph Meeker to place Linda L. Jensen on the payroll of the Data Processing Department as a Key Punch Operator at a salary of $349 per month effective November I, 1971, under the provisions of the Emergency Employment Act of 1971. At this time the Commission approved Russell C. Reeck being placed on the payroll as an Administrative Assistant at a salary of $735.50 per month effective November 1, 1971, under the provisions of the Emergency Employment Act of 1971. -4- � f vol, 15 PAGE 85 At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to place Eugene E. Peterson on the payroll of the Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff at a salary of $599 per month effective November I, 1971, under the provisions of the Emergency Employment Act of 1971. Emergency Employment Act employees do not qualify for seniority until after termination of funding under the Emergency Employment Act. At this time the Commission approved the reclassification of Charles L. Plummer from Roadmaster to Public Works Administrator. Done Nunc Pro Tunc July 1, 1971. At this time the Commission approved the request of Eric Larson to grant Samuel Knapp a two -months Leave of Absence from his duties at the J -J Boys' Ranch effective November I, 1971 to January I, 1972. At this time the Commission Ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to change Roger Rhodes, Counselor I from an hourly rate of pay to a monthly salary of $460.00 effective November 1, 1971. IN THE MATTER OF SNOW PLOWING ON ROADS WITHIN DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission Ordered the Deschutes County Road Department shall plow only those roads within the county which are duly resolutioned and established as county roads. IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: At this time the Commission granted permit #78539 to Pacific Northwest Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF PIPELINES: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Terrebonne Water District to install a water line on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to the City of Bend to install a water pipe line parallel and transverse to Nels Anderson Road. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Clyde Resare to install a water line on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to K & S Builders to install a pipeline on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF MOVING A BUILDING: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Carl Spencer to move a building on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTING AN ACCESS: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Gary L. Poeholec to construct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. There being no further business, Commission session was adjourned.
