IN THE MATTER OF MOVING SURVEYOR'S OFFICE: At this time the Commission Ordered that the Surveyor's office shall be moved to space in the Road Department office. This move to be completed by December I, 1971. IN THE MATTER OF SPACE RENTAL FEE: At this time the Commission Ordered that a fee of 35¢ per square foot per month be established as the rental rate to all governmental agencies using space in county buildings. IN THE MATTER OF STEP INCREASES: At this time the Commission Ordered that those employees denied pay increases due to President Nixon's wage/price freeze shall receive their step increases effective immediately after the freeze is lifted. -3- Vag IN THE MATTER OF FUNDING OF C.O.I.C.: 1.5-AI;F.135 At this time the Commission agreed to submit budget recommendations for funding the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council. IN THE MATTER OF TENANCY AGREEMENT: At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with the "Action Committee Involving Drugs and You" for the use and possession of the county - owned residence at 153 Lafayette, Bend, for use as a counseling center for community youth. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the placement of Richard E. Winkle on the Deschutes County Library payroll as a Library Clerk at a salary of $289 per month effective November 3, 1971. IN THE MATTER OF BRIDGE LOAD LIMIT: At this time the Commission Ordered a ten -ton load limit be the Shevlin Park Bridge No. A -II -I. It was further ordered that State Highway Department be requested to weigh all loads crossing that in their judgement would violate State statutes covering the of the load limit as posted in accordance with ORS 483:532. IN THE MATTER OF PENGRA-HUNTINGTON ROAD: posted on the Oregon this bridge assignment Order effect - At this time the Commission authorized the Roadmaster to proceed with the necessary engineering work, clearing, grading and drainage, and base surfacing of that portion of the Pengra-Huntington Road described as North of Burgess Road, 1.2 miles in length. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF PORTIONS OF "G" AVE., "H" AVE., & 14th ST. IN TERREBONNE: The Commission, on November 8, 1971 held a Hearing on its intention to vacate portions of "G" ave., "H" Ave., and 14th St. in Terrebonne as described in the Commission minutes dated September 15, 1971. It is hereby ordered that the portions as described shall be and the same are hereby vacated as there were no objections at said Hearing. IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: At this time the Commission granted permits #78485#1, #78566, #78572, and Byram Road to Pacific Northwest Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
