IN THE MATTER OF GRAZING LEASE FEES: At this time the Commission adopted a grazing lease fee for county lands under forest fire protection. The rate shall be the fire protection fee plus 101t per acre, effective January I, 1972. IN THE MATTER OF JOHNSON PARK: At this time the Commission Resolved to transfer ownership of property commonly known as Johnson Park and described as follows; NE14SE4 Sec. 12, -3- VOL 15 P14F 189 Twp. 17 S., Range II E.,W.M. Lots 3, 4, SE4NW7r, SWvNEk, Sec. 7, Twp. 17 S., Range 12 E.,W.M. to: The Parks Division of the Oregon State Highway Dept. IN THE MATTER OF .OLLECTION FEES: At this time the Commission Ordered that effective January I, 1972, the County Clerk shall collect the following amount as a service fee for support payments: Decrees stipulating amounts to $30, fee shall be 500; Decrees stipulating amounts over $30, fee shall be $I. IN THE MATTER OF TAX LEVY FOR SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT #I: Whereas, a special election having been held on December 9, 1971, and a majority of the votes cast being in favor, the Commission at this time ordered that the tax levy authorized at said election, the sum of $9,750 with a maximum rate of levy to be $2.50 per $1,000 true cash value of taxable property, be certified to the County Assessor for extension upon the next assessment roll of the county against the property within Special Road Dist- rict No. I. IN THE MATTER OF LAND USE PERMIT: At this time the Commission approved the application by Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. to the U.S.F.S. for a land use permit for an electric power line crossing Three Creeks Lake Road at a point approximately 3/4 mile south of Sisters. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the request of Lorin Morgan to advance Mary Jo Cochran to step 2 of Secretary 2, and increase her salary to $405 per month effective January I, 1972. At this time the Commission approved the termination of Phillip A. Minor from the Health Department effective December 31, 1971. At this time the Commission approved the request to place Wendy Larson on the payroll as a relief PBX operator at a salary of $2.00 per hour effective December 15, 1971. IN THE MATTER OF SNOW REMOVAL: At this time the Commission ordered that the Director of Public Works shall authorize snow plowing on only those county roads for which there is proof of acceptance by the Board of Commissioners or the prior County Courts. IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE RENEWAL: At this time the Commission approved the following renewal application for a beer license: Goddard, Charles A. Hampton Station, Brothers RMBB IN THE MATTER OF RENEWAL OF AUTO WRECKING LICENSE: At this time the Commission approved the following renewal application for an auto wrecking license: H. H. Malick Malick Auto Wreckers, 906 N. 6th, Redmond _C . .i VoL 15 PACE ! 1 IN THE MATTER OF CIMARRON DRIVE, SAGE COURT, LONGHORN COURT, & TUMBLEWEED COURT: At this time the Commission made Resolutions of its intention to establish county roads in Deschutes County, Oregon, described as follows: CIMARRON DRIVE - a strip of land in the W! of Sec. 16, Twp. 17 S., Range 13 E.,W.M., said strip of land being known as Cimarron Drive as dedicated to the public by the plats of Cimarron City, and Replat of a Portion of Cimarron City, and more particularly described as follows: a strip of land 60' wide lying 30' on each side of the following described centerline: beginning at engineer's centerline station 23+43.15 which point is on the centerline of Cimarron Drive and bears N 890 50' 30" E 1316.47' and thence N 000 02' 45" E 2343.15' from the SW corner of said Sec. 16; thence following along the centerline of Cimarron Drive N 000 02' 45" E 1321.22' to the terminius of this description. SAGE COURT - a strip of land in the W4 of the NW4 of Sec. 16, Twp. 17 S., Range 13 E.,W.M., said strip of land being known as Sage Court as dedicated to the public by the Replat of a Portion of Cimarron City, and more particu- larly described as follows: a strip of land 60' wide lying 30' on each side of the following described centerline: beginning at engineer's centerline station 0+00 which point is on the centerline of Cimarron Drive and bears N 890 50' 30" E 1316.47' and thence N 000 02' 45" E 3634.37' from the SW corner of said Sec. 16; thence following along the centerline of Sage Court S 89° 42' 58" W 987.10' to the radius point of a 50' radius cul-de-sac and there terminating. LONGHORN COURT - a strip of land in the NWµ of the SW4 of Sec. 16, Twp. 17 S., Range 13 E.,W.M., said strip of land being known as Longhorn Court as dedicated to the public by the plat of Cimarron City, and more particularly described as follows: a strip of land 60' wide lying 30' on each side of the following described centerline: beginning at engineer's centerline station 0+00 which point is on the centerline of Cimarron Drive and bears N 89° 50' 30" E 1316.47' and thence N 000 02' 45" E 1682.30' from the SW corner of said Sec. 16; thence following along the centerline of Longhorn Court S 89° 46' 20" W 987.31' to the radius point of a 50' radius cul-de-sac and there terminating. TUMBLEWEED COURT - a strip of land in the SWµ of the NW4 of Sec. 16, Twp. 17 S., Range 13 E.,W.M., said strip of land being known as Tumbleweed Court as dedicated to the public by the Replat of a Portion of Cimarron City, a sub- division, and more particularly described as follows: a strip of land 60' wide lying 30' on each side of the following described centerline: beginning at engineer's centerline station 0+00 which point is on the centerline of Cimarron Drive and bears N 89° 50' 30" E 1316.47' and thence N 00° 02' 45" E 2973.87' from the SW corner of said Sec. 16; thence following along the centerline of Tumbleweed Court S 89° 43' 32" W 987.12' to the radius point of a 50' radius cul-de-sac and there terminating. And it is ordered that the County Roadmaster or his duly qualified deputy shall give notice of these Resolutions by posting true copies thereof, properly certified to as such by the County Clerk, at the place of holding County Court and also at three public places in the vicinity of said proposed roads 30 days previous to the consideration of these Resolutions by the Board of Commissioner nitifying all persons concerned that said Resolutions will be considered and passed upon by this Board at a meeting on the 19th day of January, 1972, at which time the Board will consider any objections or remonstrances which may be filed on account of said proposed roads. IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: At this time the Commission granted permit #78593 to Pacific Northwest Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF PIPELINE: -5- VOL 15 PA -F At this time the Commission granted a permit to the City of Bend to install an 8" cast iron water pipe line in Ferguson Road. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Jack Robinson & Sons to install a pipeline on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Hap Taylor, Jr. to install a 3/4" pipeline on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTING AN ACCESS: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Don Peterman to cons- truct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Sam Oldaker to construct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Dick Arnett to construct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. At this time the Commission granted a permit to Don Peterman to cons- truct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. There being no further business, Commission session was adjourned.
