The advanced funds for the project to be returned to the Solid Waste Fund at 50 percent of user fee. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OFFICE: At this time the Commission signed a payroll order placing Sigrid Jensen at $2.10 per hour beginning September 15. IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Carl Spencer for moving of a building. IN THE MATTER OF ATTENDANCE AT COMMISSION MEETING: The following attended Commission meeting: John Sullivan, Charles Plummer, Lorin Morgan, Ike Donat, Jerry Horn, and Dewey Oils -en. IN THE MATTER OF TELEPHONE EASEMENT: At this time the Commission granted an easement for laying telephone conduit along a county road. IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM GENERAL ROAD FUND TO THE Dnnn n9:Pa0TMGWT RGCGPVF- At this time the Commission ordered the transfer of $175,000 from -4- VOL 1-4 FADE 177 The General Road Fund to the Road Department Reserve Fund. IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTION OF PERMIT TO DISPOSE OF SPECIAL TYPES OF SOLID WASTE At this time the Board of Commissioners adopted a permit system for hard -to -handle solid waste (rocks, bulk wood products, tires, car springs, etc.) and an appropriate fee shall be determined as to the cost of handling. Fees shall be collected by the Public Workd and site designated by the Public Works. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN ASSESSOR'S OFFICE: At this time the Commission approved the reclassification of Beverly J. Routen from Clerk Typist 2 to Clerk Typist 3. Salary raise for this position will be $380 per month. IN THE MATTER OF ORDINANCE RELATING TO REGULATING AND LICENSING OF ENTERTAINMENT ASSEMBLIES: ORDINANCE # CG 3 At this time the Commission resolved that Deschutes County adopt an ordinance that may be referred to as an Ordinance for Licensing Entertainment Assemblies. This Ordinance and amendments were adopted Sept. 18, 1970, to go into effect in 30 days. Present for the hearing were Commissioner's chairman, D. L. Penhollow, Commissioner G. W. McCann, and District Attorney Louis Selken. Nine interested citizens were present. A copy of adopted ordinance and minutes of hearing are attached to these minutes. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLING A PIPELINE: At this time the Commission granted a permit to Rick Hinman to install a water line, which size shall be no less than 6 inches, on or across the Deschutes Cownty right of way.
