Humane Society Dog Control 73.50 IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTION OF AOC INSURANCE PLAN: At this time the Commission adopted the Association of Oregon Counties proposal for health and welfare insurance inclusive of $3,000 life insurance at a cost of $17.10 per employee per month. IN THE MATTER OF ATTENDANCE: The Commission noted that Charles Plummer and Bill Yates were present at the morning session. IN THE MATTER OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT: At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with William D. Hitson & Jean Hitson for the following described real property situated in Deschutes County, State of Oregon, to -wit: NEkSE4 Sec. 13, Township 14 S., Range 13 E.,W.M. (with the following reservations: Excepting and reserving that certain irrigation canal and all appurtenances thereto, under Oregon 017094, constructed by the United States, over, or upon the NWgSEk Sec. 13, Township 14 S., Range 13 E.,W.M. Oregon. Rights- of-way for electric transmission lines granted to Central Elec- tric Cooperative, Inc., under OR 3729 Oregon 012676, and Oregon 0561, as to the N2SE4 Section 13, Township 14 S., Range 13 E.,W.M. for the sum of $9900.00, to be paid in the following manner: $990.00 in cash, and the balance in equal payments of $1327.86 including interest. IN THE MATTER OF FEE SCHEDULE FOR HEALTH DEPARTMENT: At thi's time the Commission Ordered the Deschutes County Health Depart- ment to adopt the following schedule of fees for administration of tuberculin' testing and immunizations to adults: Tuberculin testing - $1.00; Small Pox - $1.00 - All others - $2.00. IN THE MATTER OF SPECIAL ELECTION: -3- von 14 FAIN 6.9,9 At this time the Commission Ordered that a Special Election be held to permit a levy for the financing of the operation of the offices of Des- chutes County, on July 6, 1971. Said levy will be outside the limitation imposed by Article XI, Sec. Il of the Oregon Constitution, beginning in the fiscal year beginning July I, 1971, in the amount of $192.025.38. The maximum rate of levy per year shall be .62 cents per thousand dollars of true cash value of taxable property. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF SIXTH STREET IN TUMALO: At this time the Commission acting upon the petition of a freeholder residing in Tumalo, resolved to vacate a road commonly referred to as Sixth Street, to wit: All that portion of Sixth Street lying between the East right- of-way line of Wharton Street to the West right-of-way line of Riverview Drive located in Section 31, Township 16, Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian in Tumalo and according to the official plat of Laidlaw as recorded in the office of the County Clerk. It is, therefore, ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in three (3) places along the road to be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulle- tin Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon; that Monday, June 14, 1971, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, at the County Courtroom, County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said . portion of the road should not be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes County Road System. IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTION OF SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM ORDINANCE: On June I, 1971 the Commission held a hearing on the proposed "Sewage Disposal System Ordinance." There being no objections or remonstrances the Ordinance was adopted as presented with the following amendments: Article Ii. PERMITS; Section 5.02 (last paragraph) Permits may be issued in field by Sanitarian. Article V. OCCUPANCY; No person shall occupy any new dwelling or newly relocated mobile home or travel trailer until facilities for sewage dis- posal have been installed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Article VII. APPEALS; All decision by the Director under this ordinance shall be reviewable by the Board of County Commissioners. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on July I, 1971. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: At this time the Commission make the following refund of taxes: Chester A. Bradley Dennis Nordman IN THE MATTER OF LEASE ON COUNTY LAND: ordered F. C. Sholes, Tax Collector, to Double Payment $ 1.13 Over -assessment 27.41 At this time the Commission approved a grazing lease on county land to Dan H. Heierman. IN THE MATTER OF MOVING A BUILDING: At this time the Commission granted a permit to C. E. Painter to move a building on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTING AN ACCESS: At this time the Commission granted a permit to L. F. and Vera S. Lakey to construct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. -4- IN THE MATTER OF PERMITS GRANTED: t V01- 4- PACE 73F' At this time the Commission granted the following permits: #78252, #77857, #78248, #78252 to Pacific Northwest Bell to construct buried cable on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
