At this time the Commission held a hearing to consider any objections
or remonstrances on the establishment of the Billadeau Road Extension. Beings
there were none, it is ordered and decreed that the Billadeau Road Extension
shall be established as described in said Resolution, dated October 7, 1970.
IN THE MATTER OF
DEDICATION FOR
PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSE:
At this time the Commission ordered that the Easterly Thirty feet (301)
of SEkSWw Sec. 18, Township 17 S., Range 13 East of Willamette Meridian, be
hereby set aside for public road purposes in perpetuity.
IN THE MATTER OF
CONSTRUCTION
AGREEMENT:
The Commission at this time entered into a construction agreement with
Leonard Lundgren in the construction of a road across county land located in
the SWaSWi Section 12, Twp. 18 S., Range 11 E.W.M.
IN THE MATTER OF
LIBRARY COMMITTEE:
The Commission at this time appointed Lucille Jordan to serve on the
Deschutes County Library Committee for a four year term, ending in 1974.
IN THE MATTER OF
SOLID WASTE ORDINANCE:
At this time the Commission held the first reading of the proposed
Ordinance No. CG -4, an ordinance relating to accumulation, storage, collection,
transportation and disposal of wastes and solid wastes; and the date for the
second reading and Hearing was set for December 4, 1970 in the District
Courtroom of the Deschutes County Courthouse, at 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard
Time. Also Notice of this Public Hearing was sent to The Bulletin and The
Redmond Spokesman.
IN THE MATTER OF
PURCHASE AGREEMENT:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Vincent E.
Gisler and Kathryn Y. Gisler for the following described real property situate
in Deschutes County, State of Oregon, to -wit:
SEkSEk Sec. 15, Twp. 17 S., R. 12 E.W.M.
for the sum of $12,500.00, to be paid in the following manner: $1,250.00 in
cash, and the balance in 120 equal payments of $136.51 each month, at 8 percent
interest.

At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with E. L. Nielsen
and Dorothy Nielsen for the following described real property situate in
Deschutes County, State of Oregon, to -wit:
E- of Lot 1, Sec. 31, Twp. 17 S., R. 13 E.W.M. (19.5 acres,
more or less
for the sum of $5,200.00, to be paid in the following manner: $520.00 in
cash, and the balance in 120 equal monthly payments of $56.80, including 8%
interest.

VACATION OF A STREET
IN ROMAINE VILLAGE:
The Commission, on November 10, 1970, held a Hearing on its intention
of a vacation of a portion of Cinder Lane in Romaine Village, as recorded
and on file in the Deschutes County Clerk's Office. It is hereby ordered
that the portion of Cinder Lane of Romaine Village in Deschutes County, Oregon,
shall be and the same is hereby vacated as there were no objections at said
Hearing.

The Commission at this time approved the following renewal applica-

The Commission at this time recommended an approval for a new license
to The Pump House, Terrebonne; Mike McKinnon, owner for RMBA.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERMITS GRANTED:
At this time the Commission granted three permits (#17661, #17713 and
#78015) to Pacific Northwest Beil Telephone to construct buried cable on or
across Deschutes County right-of-way.
There being no further business, Commission was adjourned to an
Adjourned meeting to be held on November 17, 1970.
