The Commission noted that Charles Plummer and Ralph Meeker were present
at the morning session.
IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT
WITH OREGON MENTAL HEALTH DIVISION:
At this time the Commission signed an agreement with the Oregon Mental
Health Division for 50% reimbursement of the operating budget for the Deschutes
County Family Counciling Clinic in the amount of $23,381.
IN THE MATTER OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
PROCUREMENT RESOLUTION
At this time the Commission adopted a Resolution pertaining to the pro-
curement of R/W relevant to displacing people in compliance with the Federal
Discrimination Act.
IN THE MATTER OF
TERMINATION OF EASEMENT:
At this time the Commission was notified by the U. S. A. through C. M.
Hofferber, Acting Regional Forester, of their intention to terminate an ease-
ment for a road, dated November 2, 1949 and recorded in Deschutes County,
November 18, 1949, in Book 91, page 512.
IN THE MATTER OF
POWER LINE CLEARANCE:
At this time the Commission authorized permission to the Midstate
Electric Cooperative, Inc. to clear ten (10) feet off the south side of
Lots 3, 4, 15, 18, and 20, Block 2, LaPine Acres in Township 22 S., Range 10
E.,W.M. Section 8 for power line purposes.
IN THE MATTER OF
DEDICATION OF PUBLIC WAY:
At this time the Commission Ordered that the Northerly 60' of NEkNEj of
Section 12, Township 17 S., Range II E.,W.M. between the East right-of-way
line of Johnson Road and the Range line between Range II and Range 12 E.,W.M.
be and is hereby designated as a public way.
IN THE MATTER OF
EXCHANGE OF PROPERTIES:
At this time the Commission pursuant to ORS 275.100, resolved to enter
into an exchange of lands with Willard and Mae Cyrus. Said lands being
described as follows:
DESCHUTES COUNTY To Willard & Mae Cyrus:
A small tract of land in NW corner of NEkSE4 of Section 18, Twp.
15 S., Range II E.,W.M. north of Cloverdale Market Road and described
as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of NEkSE4 of Section 18, Twp. 15 S.,
Range II E.,W.M. and running thence S. 890 52' 14" E. 217.3' to
the right-of-way of Cloverdale Market Road; thence S. 620 00' W.
246' more or less to the West line of NEkSE4; thence N. 00 19'
22" W. 116.5' to the point of beginning, and containing 0.29
acres.
And in exchange WILLARD 3 MAE CYRUS would deed to Deschutes County,
Oregon:
A small tract of land in the SE4NE4 of Section 18, Twp. 15 S.,
Range II E.,W.M. and described as follows:

All that portion of the SE$NE$ of Section 18, Twp. 15 S.,
Range 11 E.,W.M. lying between the South right-of-way of the Clover-
dale Market Road and the South line of SEjNEJ and West of a line
320' Westerly of the East k Section corner of Section 18. This
is a strip of land approximately 665' long by 65 to 75' wide and
contains approximately 1.0 acres more or less.
It is Ordered that a hearing be held in the Deschutes County Courtroom at
10:00 a.m., on the 20th day of October, 1971 for the hearing of objections,
if there be any, why said parcels should not be exchanged.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
TAX WARRENTS:
At this time the Commission noted that the Notice of Personal Property
Tax warrents will be published in the Bend Bulletin.
IN THE MATTER OF
SUBDIVISION FILING FEES:
At this time the Commission Resolved that a subdivision filing fee be
established in the amount of $75.00 plus $2.00 per lot to cover the cost of
services provided in connection with the filing of subdivision plans.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERSONNEL ACTION:
At this time the Commission approved the termination of Grace 1. Belanger
as cook in the Jail effective August 31, 1971.
At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to
place Della Mae Lowe on the payroll of the Sheriff's - Jail department as a
cook at a salary of $295.00 per month effective September 1, 1971.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Louis L. Seiken
to place Patricia T. Metelski on the payroll of the District Attorney's office
as a Secretary 3 at a salary of $469.00 per month effective September 1, 1971.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Louis L. Selken
to terminate the fulltime employment of Mona J. Pruitt effective August 31, 197
and continue her employment as a partime secretary at an hourly rate of $2.95
per hour.
At this time the Commission approved the request of Elsie Holechek to
place Mary Carson on the payroll of the Abundant Food Center as an Assistant
Clerk at a salary of $1.75 per hour effective September 2, 1971.
At this time the Commission approved the request of F. C. Sholes to
place Lois J. Pauley and Linda K. Blair on the payroll of the Tax Department
as Accounting Clerk I's at a salary of $385.00 per month effective September.

At this time the Commission granted a permit to Jack Robinson d Sons,
Inc. to install a I" water line on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
At this time the Commission granted a permit to City of Bend to install
a 6" water pipeline parallel to Studio Road.
