IN THE MATTER OF SERVICE CONTRACT: Opening was conducted by the Clerk, Helen M. for Deschutes County for this fiscal year: bidder, Shell Oil Company, for the following: Shell Gasoline, $0.2099; Shell Dieseline, include the present State Motor Vehicle Fuel and exclude the Federal Excise Tax of four The Court at this time signed an agreement, expanding the Service Contract with Lava Butte TV, inc. for Sunriver; $5.00 monthly charge to be added to the Sheriff's portion of the maintenance contract. IN THE MATTER OF J -J BOY'S RANCH PERSONNEL: At this time the Court approved and ordered the Clerk to place the following on the staff of the J Bar J Boy's Ranch in the capacity and at the wages indicated: Steven A. Vincent, Counselor, $400.00 Mildred & Samuel Knapp, House Parents, July 1, 1969; Gary Lance Wagoner, Night Supervisor, effective July 1, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF ROGERS ROAD: per mo, effective 7/1/69; $350.00 per mo. effective $200.00 per month, At this time the Court ordered the vacation of a portion of the Edwin Rogers Road across the land of William Leer, Jr., as there were no objections at such hearing held this 7th day of July, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF CENTRAL OREGON DISTRICT HOSPITAL: The Court at this time ordered the approval of the appointment of Arthur Young & Company as auditor of Central Oregon District Hospital pursuant to the provisions of ORS 441.375. IN THE MATTER OF BURIED CABLE PERMIT: At this time the Court granted a permit to Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company for a buried telephone cable on or across Elderberry Lane and Pine Forest Drive county roadsl another permit was granted to cross Arnold Market Road at the junction with Reed Market Road, a permit was granted to cross Knotts Road and a permit granted to a parallel on Nelson & Waugh Roads. -4- von 13 FACE 235 IN THE MATTER OF LEASE OF COUNTY - OWNED LANDS: The Court at this time leased to Washored Turkey Association, the following described county -owned lands, to -wit: Township 15 S., Range 13 E.W.M.: Sect. 21: E 1/2 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Sect. 28: N 1/2 a total of 340 acres for grazing purposes at the rate of 10 cents per acre, or $34.00, from January 1, 1969 to December 31, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF TWO 18" pipelines: The Court at this time granted a permit to Sydney Gross to install two 18" pipelines on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF A PIPELINE: At this time the Court granted a permit to R. L. Riemenschneider to install a 12" pipeline on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF MOVING A TRAILER LEAN-TO: At this time the Court granted a permit to Kenneth J. Holman to move a trailer lean-to on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF ASSISTANT WATERMASTER: The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of Gerald L. Lueb as Assistant Watermaster on the payroll effective July 1, 1969, at a salary of $550.00 per month from July 1, 1969 to December 31, 1969 and $575.00 per month from January 1, 1970 through June 30, 1970. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLING AN ACCESS: The Court at this time granted a permit to East Rim Subdivision (George D. Trout Jr.) to install an access to Lots 6 thru 14 bordering on Wilcox Road. IN THE MATTER OF LAND PATENT: The Court, on July 15, 1969, received a Land Patent pursuant to Section 8 of the Act of June 28, 1934, 48 Stat. 1269-1272, inclusive, as amended and supplemented; 43 U.S.C. 315g (1964), for the following described lands: (From the United States of America, Bureau of Land Management). Willamette Meridian, Oregon. T. 18 S., R. 12 E., Sec. 10, E 1/2 SE 1/4; Sec. 14, N 1/2, N 1/2 SW 1/4, and NW 1/4 SE 1/4; Sec. 15, E 1/2 NE 1/4 and NE 1/4 SE 1/4.
