The Court at this time in cooperation with President Richard Nixon's
designation of Monday, July 21, 1969 as "Participation Day", with the landing
on the moon of the United States' astronauts, does hereby proclaim Monday,

SPECIAL ELECTION:
The Court at this time ordered that a Special Election be held to
permit a levy for the financing of maintenance of the garbage dump sites in
Deschutes County, on August 21, 1969, in accordance with ORS 310.330.

The Court at this time leased to W. M. McFarlane, Rte. I, Box 331,

a total of 80 acres for grazing purposes at the rate of 10 cents per acres,

PERSONNEL ACTION:
The Court at this time approved the recommendation of Roadmaster
Charles L. Plummer and ordered that Glenn Plagmann be placed on the payroll
on the Road Department at $2.25 per hour, effective July 22, 1969.

APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS:
The Court at this time did provide and appropriate the sum of
$8,231.00 for use in and about agricultural or farm demonstration and field
work in the County of Deschutes, State of Oregon, during the fiscal year

Sheriff and the Deschutes County District Attorney ordered certain personal

more years delinquent and are considered wholly uncollectible. An attached
