The Commission at this time ordered that all rights of James F. Bozarth
Contract Purchaser of Lots 23, 24, 25, Blk 24, Hillman and Lots 14, 15 and 16,
Blk 24, Hillman, are terminated as his payments under said contract are in
def au I t.
The Commission at this time ordered that all rights of Delbert Harden
Contract Purchaser of Lot 4, Block 3, Deschutes Addition, Bend, are terminated
as his payments under said contract are in default.
It was further ordered by the Commission that the Sheriff serve both
Mr. James F. Bozarth and Mr. Delbert Harden with certified copies of these
orders, respectfully; thereby foreclosing on these contracts. Seconded & carrie

SALARY ADJUSTMENT:
At this time the Commission ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to adjust
the salary of Mary Shive to $326.00 per month, beginning April 1, 1970 as she
has just satisfactorily completed her three months probation.

The Court at this time made Resolution of its intention to vacate a

IN THE MATTER OF
PIPELINE INSTALLATION:
The Commission at this time authorized the road department to
participate up to $100.00 toward the pipeline installation for Roy Lively
along the south side of Satjchen Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
PERSONNEL ACTION:
At this time the Commission, upon the recommendation of Roadmaster
Charles L. Plummer, granted the following pay increases to Office personnel
in the Road Department:
Dyann Rybarczyk: from $342.00 to $400.00 monthly
Marsha Weed: from $326.00 to $380.00 monthly
These two would not be eligible for a merit increase before May 1, 1971; this
pay increase is to be effective May 1, 1970.
IN THE MATTER OF
AN ACCESS:
At this time the Commission granted a permit to William Miller to
construct an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.

IN THE MATTER OF
BUSINESS LICENSE ORDINANCE:
The Commission, on April 6, 1970, conducted two Hearings; one at I0:00a.
and the other at 7:30 p.m., in the District Courtroom, Deschutes County Court-
house, Bend, Oregon, continued from January 20, 1970, on the proposed Des-
chutes County Business License Ordinance, as amended. After the final
hearing, Commissioner Dorothy A. Smead moved and it was seconded by Comm.
McCann to close the Hearings on this proposed Deschutes County Business
License Ordinance and take no action until further public interest is
manifested. Unanimously carried by the Board.
IN THE MATTER OF
LEASE OF COUNTY -
OWNED LANDS:
The Commission at this time leased to Jess Tetherow, Redmond, Oregon,
the following described county -owned lands, to -wit:
Township 15 S., Range 13 E.W.M.: Sect. 10: SINE14SE4
containing 20 acres, more or less, for woodyard purposes only, at the rate
of $1.00 per acre, from March I, 1970 to March I, 1971.

The Commission at this time recommended approval of a new Seasonal
