Yager, his heirs and assigns, for the following described property, to -wit, for the sum of $1,000.00: Lot 5, Block 3, First Addition Deschutes River Acres and Lot 6, Block 3, First Addition Deschutes River Acres. IN THE MATTER OF AGENT OF RECORD: The Commission at this time appointed Bend Insurance Agency as Agent of Record for Surety, casualty and fire insurance and the Central Oregon Life Underwriters Association as Agent of Record for Disability, Life, Health and Medical; all previous appointment hereby are revoked. IN THE MATTER OF ATTENDANCE AT nnMMISSInN MFFTINn- At this time the following were in attendance of the Deschutes County Commission meeting: Pater Morgan, C. L. Plummer, Keith Ramsay, Jr., Russell Bryant, Alva Goodrich, Jerry Horn and William Jones. IN THE MATTER OF RIEMENSCHNEIDER EXCHANGE: At this time the Commission held a Hearing, after having made investiga- tion and finding the requirements of the Oregon State Statute had been accomplished, pursuant to ORS 275.100, with no one appearing to bring objec- tions to the exchange between Deschutes County and R. L. Riemenschneider thereby it was unanimously voted to order the County Clerk to draw a deed, after the water rights are exchanged, for the following: SZNW4 Sec. 25 and SINE4 Sec. 35, in Twp. 14 S., R. 11 E.W.M. -3- IN THE MATTER OF LEASE PAYMENT: At this time the Lease payment on crop R. L. Riemenschneider. IN THE MATTER OF RADIO MAINTENANCE: VOL pgE6 45 Commission ordered that Deschutes County waives the year, 1969 as part of the exchange of properties, from At this time the Commission unanimously agreed not to enter into a Radio Maintenance Agreement for this year, but rather moved to hire Marvin Rheinholdt on a hourly rate basis, plus parts, and authorize frequency checks and other regular required maintenance. IN THE MATTER OF AN ERROR IN VACATION OF A PORTION OF PLAT FOREST PARK I: At this time the Commission ordered that a correction be recognized in the Vacation Order, dated May 6, 1970, of a Portion of Plat Forest Park 1, in that on page two (2) of this Order, Tract No. 2: Beginning at a point whence a 2" iron pipe at the Northeast corner of Section 5, (etc.). IN THE MATTER OF SUPPLEMENTAL LICENSE APPLICATION: At this time the Commission moved and unanimously carried that the Supplemental License Application of J. H. Borden, B & B Auto Wreckers, be denied because the statutory requirements were not met, as well as the sufficiency of present operations and the maintenance of any present operation IN THE MATTER OF INSURANCE BIDS: At this time an Advertisement for Comprehensive Liability Policy with $300,000/500,000/300,000 liability limits, Fire, Theft Comprehensive and Collision insurance for automobiles and limited Floater form on equipment was made. Bids will be received up to 10:00 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, June 17, 1970, at which time bids will be opened. IN THE MATTER OF LEASE AGREEMENT: The Commission entered into an Agreement with School District No. 1, Deschutes County, Oregon whereby Deschutes County leases from said school district certain properties to be used for a parking lot adjacent to the Deschutes County Library, for a period of five (5) years, commencing November 10, 1969, and ending November 9, 1974. IN THE MATTER OF LEASE OF COUNTY OWNED LANDS: At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Clyde Dahl, Redmond, Oregon, leasing the following described county -owned lands, to -wit: Township 16 South, Range 12 E.W.M.: Sec. 11: NE4NWj containing 40 acres, more or less, for grazing purposes, at the rate of $1.00 per acre, or a total of $40.00. This lease is from June 1, 1970 to June 1, 1971. -4- IN THE MATTER OF PIPELINE PERMIT: VOL 13 PACE 846 At this time the Commission granted a permit to Myers Excavating and Construction Co., Jay Myers, to install a pipeline on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF BURIED CABLE PERMIT: The Commission at this time granted a permit to Pacific Northwest Bell to install a buried cable on or across a public road. The Commission, on May 28, 1970, granted a permit to Pacific Northwest Bell to install a 0.62" buried cable on or across Reservoir Market Road. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: The Commission at this time ordered F. C. Sholes, Tax Collector, to make the following refund of taxes: F. B. House Paid on wrong property $ 14.38 James E.
