Moore and Charlcia V. Moore, husband and wife, for Lot 4, Block 5, Highland Addition, for the sum of $500.00 Cash. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING CENTRAL OREGON REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS: At this time the Court Resolved and approved the "Agreement establishing the Central Oregon Regional Council of Governments' and agreed to become a member of the Council. IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF PROPERTIES WITH RUSSELL L. HIATT: The Court at this time held a Hearing, with no one bringing objections to the exchange of properties with Russell L. Hiatt and Deschutes County, and therefore ordered the County Clerk of Deschutes County to draw a Deed for the proposed exchange properties, transferring the following: The Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NE14) Section Eighteen (18) Township Sixteen (16) South, Range Eleven (11) East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon. to Russell L. Hiatt, with the payment of $800.00 to meet terms of the ORS. -4- IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF PROPERTIES WITH A. W. BEARDSLEY & MILDRED BEARDSLEY: The Court at this time held a Hearing, with no one bringing objections to the exchange of properties with A. W. Beardsley & Mildred Beardsley and Deschutes County, and therefore ordered the County Clerk of Deschutes County to draw a Deed for the following: A tract of land in NW4 Section 12, Twp. 15 S., R. 12 E.W.M. and described as follows: All that portion of the NW1 of Section 12, Township 15 South, Range 12 E.W.M., lying South of the right bank of the Deschutes River and lying Easterly of a North and South line 676.2 ft. West of the Mast line of NW -4 of said Section 12. to A. W. Beardsley and Mildred Beardsley. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE 0. H. TALBOT ROAD: At this time the Court held a Hearing and as there were no objections at such hear- ing, the Court further ordered that the portion of the 0. H. Talbot Road in Deschutes County, Oregon shall be and the same is hereby vacated. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PORTION OF HOLLINGSHEAD ROAD: At this time the hearing, the Court further Oregon within the described same is hereby vacated. IN THE MATTER OF PUBLICATION REAL PROPERTY FORECLOSURE: Court held a Hearing and as there were no objections at said Ordered that the portion of the said parcel in Deschutes County, land as a portion of Hollingshead Road, and shall be and the The Court at this time ordered that the Real Property Foreclosure list be published in The Bulletin. IN THE MATTER OF PINE FOREST DRIVE: At this time the Court considered the Resolution that a public necessity exists for the establishment of the road hereinafter described as follows, to wit: A strip of land for road purposes 60 feet in width, being 30 ft. in width each side of the center line described as follows: Beginning at the corner of Sections 3 - 4- 9 - 10 of Twp. 22 S., Range 10 E.W.M. and running South along the Section line between 9 and 10 for 2010 ft. more or less to a point 600 feet North of the 1/4 Section corner between Sections 9 and 10. and beings there were no objections or remonstrances at the Hearing held this 5th day of February, the Court declared the establishment of said Pine Forest Drive as a county road in Deschutes County, Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF RULES OF ORDER, AGENDA AND SNOW REMOVAL: At this time Commissioner Dorothy A. Smead presented and requested that the Court, through the presiding Judge, follow and establish rules of procedure in conducting County Court and also suggested that an Agenda be prepared a day or two preceding regular Court Day. Also Commissioner Smead requested that some consideration be made on a sign system and numbering for all county roads which would help tremendously with priority in snow removal so t hat the public would know what to expect from the Deschutes 'County Road Department. -5- V' IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 MINERAL MATERIAL PERMIT: FAGE 411 At this time the Court agreed with the Amendment No. 2 for Mineral Material Permit for the Swede Ridge Area with the Forest Service. This amendment will extend the expiration date to January 1, 1970. All provisions and conditions of the permit issued September 21, 1967 are unchanged. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF ACCESS: The Court at this time granted a permit to L. C. Clausen to install an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF MOVING A BUILDING: The Court at this time granted a permit to K. on or across Deschutes County right-of-way, and The Court at this time granted a permit to K. on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF DISTRICT LAW ENFORCEMENT PLANNING AGENCY: J. Holman to move a building J. Holman to move 2 buildings At this time Deschutes County Resolved to provide an equitable share of non-federal matching fund to the District Law Enforcement Planning Agency as Deschutes County agrees to adopt and participate in law enforcement planning in accordance with the purposes and intent of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, in an effort to strengthen and improve local and state law enforcement, IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: The Court at this time ordered F. P.O. Box 1224, Bend, RMBB license; and The Court at this time recommended that a Class 11B1r Dispensers License be given to McMillan Inns, Inc. The Inn of the Seventh Mountain, Century Drive, Bend. IN THE MATTER OF DANCE HALL PERMIT: At this time the Court granted a license to Rim Rock Riders for a Public Dance Hall. V � PAGE 412 IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN FAIRGROUNDS: The Court, on December 20, 1968, ordered that the Deschutes County Clerk place the name of Ronald Bain, Fairgrounds custodian., on the payroll on a full time basis at $350.00 per month; effective January 1, 1969.
