IN THE MATTER OF SUPPLEMENT TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT: At this time the Court entered into an Agreement for the development of marine facilities with Forest Service, Deschutes National Forest, with a supplement to cover the proposed Wickiup Reservoir Contract (Gull Point Campgrounds). IN THE MATTER OF BUDGET ADVISORY MEMBER: The Court at this time appointed Don Hinman to the Deschutes County Budget Advisory Committee and accepted the resignation of Harry Waldron; for a three year term, expiring January I, 1973. IN THE MATTER OF BOARD OF EQUALIZATION: The Court at this time appointed Don Hinman to the Board of Equaliza- tion as the Budget Advisory Board Member. IN THE MATTER OF LEAGUE OF OREGON CITIES AGREEMENT: The Court at this time unanimously consented to support administration District pLanning Program concept. -3- IN THE MATTER OF A DEED: VOLPAI7� The Court at this time executed a Deed to Edward Dill and Mildred Dill for the purchase of: Lots 14, 15 8 16, Block 31, Hillman and Lots 17, 18 8 19, Glock 24, Hillman from Deschutes County, for the sum of $600.00. IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTES COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL: The Court at this time approved the recommendation of Dorothy A. Smead, Commissioner, and will await further word from Ron Anderson, Chief Sanitarian, upon making appointments to the Deschutes County Environmental Council. IN THE MATTER OF COOPERATIVE ROAD MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH FOREST SERVICE: The Court at this time entered into an Agreement with U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, regarding Forest Development Roads and trails jointly used or planned by the Forest Service in Deschutes County, State of Oregon, pursuant to the provision of 23 U.S.C. 205 and the regulations issued by the Sec. of Agriculture and the October 13, 1964 Act (16 USC 533). IN THE MATTER OF OLD RECORDS: The Court at this time granted the request of Charles Whitchurch, Family Counseling Clinic, and Louis Selken, District Attorney, to destroy the following public records described below: Family Service or Treatment records 1959-6/2 1/3 cu.ft. (OAR 543-60-995 (II). IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL: The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of John Kuhn as Sanitarian III in Madras Office of Tri -County Health Department; of which 15% of his time is in Deschutes County, based on total salary of $728.00; Deschutes County's portion will be $109.20, effective November 5, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN ROAD DEPARTMENT: The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the following on the payroll in the Road Department, upon the recommendation of Arthur Zibolski, Director of Public Works: Robert Dale Reif, Road Maintenance Man II, @ $525.00, effective November 17, 1969; Elmer Lee Christie, Road Maintenance Man ill, @ $550.00, effective December I, 1969; Michael O'Keeffe, Road Maintenance Man 11, @ $500.00, effective December 1, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF PARCEL #5, as ADVERTISED IN LAND SALE #301: The Court at this time ordered from Land Sale #301, all of Parcel #5, bidding. the Sheriff F. C. Sholes to delete and that it be withdrawn at time of -4- IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN ROAD DEPARTMENT: I . 13 fAtE 482 The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of Douglas Hartzell on the payroll in the Road Department, upon the recommendation of Arthur Zibolski, Director of Public Works, as Road Main- tenance Man I, with a starting salary of $480.00 per month, effective on December 1, 1969. Also, Elmer Christie has decided not to accept employment with the County Road Department; as previously ordered by the Court. IN THE MATTER OF LETTER OF BERM i SS'I ON°r` The Court at this time approved a Letter of Permission to haul logs over Peters Road and Crawford Road, with special requirements of the Deschutes National Forest in this regard. IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT: The Court at this time granted permits to the following who will be on or across Deschutes County right-of-ways: Cascade Natural Gas Co. to install a pipline transverse Terrebonne Water District to install a pipeline parallel Cascade Natural Gas Co. to install a 4" pipeline parallel IN THE MATTER OF ACCESS: The Court at this time granted a permit to Eldon McCoin to install an access on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF STEP RAISE: The Court at this time approved and recommended that Harry (pock be granted a step raise as he has successfully completed his 90 day pro- bationary period. Effective December I, 1969, Mr. Ipock's salary should be increased one step to $480.00 per month. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT OF DEPUTY WATERMASTER: The Court at this time entered into an Agreement with Jefferson County hereby agreeing to terms of employment of the Deputy Watermaster, District No. II and the portion of his pay allocable to Jefferson County. IN THE MATTER OF NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Court, on November 28, 1969, hereby gave notice that a public hearing on a supplemental budget for the fiscal year 1968-69, at the Deschutes County Courthouse in Bend, Oregon will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 17, 1969. IN THE MATTER OF LEASE OF COUNTY OWNED LANDS: The Court at this time leased to Herbert Hunt the following described county -owned lands, to -wit: Twp. 17 NE4NE4 viously S., R.
