The Court held a Hearing the 8th day of July, 1968, for the purpose of
the Deschutes County Head Department Supplemental Budget for the fiscal year 1967-68 at
10:00 a.m. Beings there were no objections, the Court ordered that the supplsnmtal
budget, as advertised, be expended.

Be it remembered., that pursuant to a published notice heretofore given fixing
the County Courtroom as the place and July 8, 1966, at 8:00 p.m. as the time for the hearing
on the Budget for' Deackates County for the fiscal year 1968-69. with ,the following present:
Henry Greening, Bill Jamas, Charles Plummer, Joseph Thalhofer, George Ray, Orval, McCullough,
N. J. Donat, F. C. Sholes, and Louis Selken, and after two how discussion by these present,

It was orderod by the Court that since the Contingency Fund was depleted, the
Court would not validate any vxmchers for this coating fiscal year that would place the
departments in the red.
Thersupen Von Revised Budget was adepted, upon the motion made by Commissioner
G. W. McCann, seconded by Commissioner Dorotby A. -Snead, and unanimously approved, it was
ordered that the County Assessor make the necessary levies.

IN THE MATTER OF
BEER LICENSE:
The Court at this time approved a removal application for beer license for
Larraine Victors dales, Gales' Landing, PA License.
IN THE MATTER OF
MOVING OF A BUILDING:
At this time the Court granted a permit to Carl Spencer to move a building on or
across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
BUILDING OF AN ACCESS:
At this time the Court granted a permit to Lamar Van Tassel is build as access on
or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
RESIGNATION:
At this time the Court accepted the resignation of Gilbert Helling from the
Deschutes County Budget Advisors Committee; this action also includes his resignation
from the Board of Equalisation.
IN THE MATTER OF
BID OPENING:
On July 16, 1968, at 10:00 a.m., in the Deschutes County Courtroom, the Deschutes
County Clerk, Helen M. Dacey, read bids for the construction of a new dormitory and remodel-
ing the kitchen at the J -J Boys' Ranch. There were bids from Hilgers,`DoGres, and Leagjeld
Construction Companies. The Court accepted the low bid of Leagjeld, whose bid was $24,796.00
with directions to Mr. Gil Belling, architect, and Mr. Leagjeld, Contractor, in conference
with Mr. Lyle Jarvis, to negotiate this bid to below $20,000.00 in order that it might be
contained within the current budget.
There being no further business.. Court adjourned.
