IN THE MATTER OF of RADIO EQUIPMENT BIDS: / At this time the Court authorized William C. James to call for bids on Road Department radio equipment and installation. IN THE MATTER OF J -J BOYS" RANCH TRUST FUND: The Court at this time ordered that Support Money and donations for the J -J Boys! Ranch be put into the J -J Boys' Ranch Trust Fund. IN THE MATTER OF OPENING OF BIDS: The Court at this time opened bids on the Used 1965,1 -Door Chevrolet from the Sheriffts Department. The highest bid was from Jarvis Gambrell for $777.00; and so, the used car was sold to him. IN THE MATTER OF ROAD ADVISORY COMMITTEE REPORT: The Court at this time accepted the report of the Road Advisory Committee of August 15. IN THE MATTER OF NEW BEER LICENSE: The Court reconded approval of a new RMBA license for Gale Powell, Nick Matthews and Mike Matthews. IN THE MATTER OF GRANT OF BEAM PATH EASEMENT AND RELEASE OF EASEMENT: The Court at this time granted to the United States of America, Bonneville Power Administration, a Beam Path Easement of a parcel of land in the S�iT1 JE of Section 30, Twp. 17 S., R. 12 E.W.M., lying within a path 10 feet in width, being 5 feet on each side of aline described as beginning at the radio tower, the center of which lies S 30 121 30" E, 1253.1 feet from the north quarter section corner of said Sec. 30, and extending on a bearing of N. 370 06' 00" E, to the north line of said S1+i1rTEy of Section 30. This is in connection with the Bend Radio Station beam easement to Grizzly Mountain. -3- VOL 12 ?mE210 IN THE MATTER OF TELEPHONE POLE INSTALLATION: The Court at this time ordered and authorized the United Telephone Co. of the Northwest to install new poles along the Northwest Market Road as instructed and according to the sketch map. IN THE MATTER OF JAILER FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY JAIL: The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of Neil Ray Cornwell, Jailer for Deschutes County Jail, on a fall time basis at $400.00 per month, effective September 1, 1968, at which time Robert Paul Laqua, who has been Jailer from August 1, 1968 to September 1, 1968, will terminate this position. IN THE MATTER OF AUCTION SALE OF SUNSET HOME: On the 29th day of August, 1968, the Court made Resolution to honor the application of John and Sheldon Arnett to advertise the property known as Sunset Home, for auction because the operation of this facility is becoming unfeasible for county maintenance to meet Oregon State Board of Health certification. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT OF BUDGET ADVISORY MDOERS: At this time the Court appointed A. L. Hollowell, Redmond, to a four (4) year term to the Deschutes County Budget Advisory Committee (until August, 1972); and the Court appointed Harry Waldron, Bend, to fill out the unexpired term (until Jan. 1970) of Gilbert Helling. IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF PROPERTIES: At this time the Court made Resolution of its intention to exchange property with William W. & Bernice G. IN THE FATTER OF PUBLICATION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX FORECLOSURE LIST: At this time the Court ordered the Sheriff and Tax Collector to publish the 1967-68 personal property tax foreclosure list in the Redmond Spokesman. IN THE MATTER OF BUILDING OF AN ACCESS: The Court at this time granted a permit to William J. Gilpin to build an access on or across Deschutes County right of way; and the Court granted a permit to Russell Greer to build an access on or across Deschutes County right of way.
