Kay Bartolat was the spokesman for this group with others from the various units -asking questions of the Court. The Court promised and agreed that the office would stay in Bend and the women were assured that their Conference Room would not be taken aware from them. IN THE MATTER OF EQUIPMENT OPERATOR: The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of Jay Allen Trumbo, Equipment Operator, on the payroll of Deschutes County Road Department at a salary of $440.00 per month effective November 13, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF PATENT: At this time the Court received a patent (#36-68-0022) from United States of America for the following described tract of land: Twp. 16S., Range 12 E.W.M.: Sec. 24, Sec. 25, NWt-lVA Containing 120.00 -Acres according to the official Plat of the Survey of the said Land, on file in the Bureau of Land Management. IN THE MATTER OF PETITION, WILT ROAD: The Court at this time received the petition for improvement of right-of-way and road bed on Wilt Road, a distance of 21� miles from Hinman Road to Squaw Creek. Upon the recommendation of the County Roadmaster, the Court decided against improvement at this time.
