Morgan the following described county owned lands, to wit: Twp. 15 S., Range 11 E.W.M.: Sec. 16: E 80 Acres. The term of this lease is from January 1, 1968 to December 31, 1972, at the rate of ten cents per acre or $8.00. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION PAY FOR COUNTY ROADMASTER IN LIEU OF VACATION: The Court at this time ordered the County Payroll clerk to issue a warrant to Charles L. Plummer, County Roadmaster, for six days vacation pay in lieu of facation at $33.86 per day for a total of $203.16. IN THE MATTER OF ROAD NAME CHANGE: At this time the Court held a Hearing to determine whether the Peters Road, Harper Road and Tholstrup Road shall be ordered as proposed with names changed to South Century Drive. Beings there were no objections filed in the office of the County Clerk on or before February 5, 1968 and no objections at this Hearing, the Court declared the name change to be legal and final. -4- VOL 11 IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF CHIEF PAULINA DRIVES There being no objections at the Hearing held at this time, at 10:00 a.m., the Court ordered the establishment of Chief Panl.ina Drive. It is further ordered that the Deschutes County surveyor shall file a plat of said road, as surveyed on the ground, with the road records of Deschutes County all in accordance with ORS 368.605. IN THE MATTER OF SUBSTITUTION OF HOLIDAY TIME WORK DAYSt The Court at this time authorized the County Road Department to work as regular work day, February 22, 1968, which is a legal holiday for all County employees and observe Friday, February 23, 1968, in lieu of the regular holiday. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT: At this time the Court made an Agreement between Deschutes County and Haynes Bro- thers, Fencing Contractors for the construction of right-of-way fencing for Deschutes County. The contractor agrees to perform all the necessary labor on said fencing for the considera- tion sum of $345.00 per mile. IN THE MATTER OF REVIEW & UPDATING COUNTY'S POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PROGRAMS: The Court at this time ordered that Eric Carlson and Associates be hired to review and assist the county to complete a study on position classification and salary program at a cost of $1600.00, to be completed by mid-March, 1968. IN THE MATTER OF A MASTER PLAN OF DESCHUTES RIVERt At this time Alleen Runkle presented a signed endorsement by Bend Parks & Recreation Board about state and local coordination in planning land use requirements and regulations on and bordering recreation water bodies in Deschutes 'County. The total lands contain 1990 acres, more or less at the rate of 10 cents per acre is $199.00 per year, from January 1 1968 to January 1, 1973, for grazing purposes only. IN THE MATTER OF WEED SUPERVISOR: The Court at this time authorized to place Darrell Delbert Anderson on the Road Department payroll as Weed Supervisor at the rate of $550.00 per month, effective date to be March 1, 1968. IN THE MATTER OF CORRECTION DEED: The Court issued a Correction Deed on February 13, 1968 to James 0. Arntz and Doris E. Arntz, husband and wife, and L. Glen Hays & Beverly Hays, husband and wife.
