At this time the Court adopted a Reconnaissaince Report as a statement generally
descriptive of its overall planning goals and program and requested that this report
become part of the application for urban planning financial assistance, filed under authority
of Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954, as amended.

At this time the Court ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of
Sharon M. Gardinier, Secretary, to the Planning Director, as Secretary III, effective
December 1, 1968, at a starting salary of $360.00 per month.

LIBRARY COMMITTEE:
At this time the Court appointed Mrs. R. D. Whittier, Redmond to fill the
unexpired term of Dr. E. M. McKrill which will be for a term expiring in 1970, to the
Deschutes County Library Committee; this will be effective January 1, 1969.
