Books 110.00 TAYLOR GRAZING FUND: Bureau of Land Management 783.38 BUILDING & GROUND IWROVEMENT FUND: Matt Williams Remodeling 1,200.00 IN THE MATTER OF QUIET TITLE OF CERTAIN LANDS: The Court at this time signed a petition to establish title to real property of certain lands in connection with the current Exchange of lands with Bureau of Land Management. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL IN ASSESSOR'S OFFICE: At this time the Court ordered the Deschutes County Clerk to place the name of Raymond Barker on the payroll in the Assessor's Office, effective December 16, 1968, as Chief Appraiser at a salary of $750.00 per month. IN THE MATTER OF AMENDED COMPLAINT: The Court at this time signed an Amended Complaint (Case #14078) against Robert E. and Betty L. Mitchell for condemnation of real property for right-of-way purposes for bridge construction situated in Deschutes County, to -wit: That portion of Tract 24, Reed Highway Acreage; west of the main Central Oregon Canal and lying east of the Dalles-California Highway #1925 location and southwesterly of the Dalles-California Highway #1916 location. IN THE MATTER OF COVERAGE FOR FOSTER CHILDREN: The Court at this time changed Hospital coverage for Foster children to National Hospital at $6.40 per child per month ($3.41 for that part of November (beginning November 15th) by signing the new contract. This will amend the Court Minutes of October 16, 1968, for coverage plan for Juvenile Wards of Court. -3- VOL 12 PAVE 355 IN THE MATTER OF WINDROW ACRES: At this time the Court accepted a check for the amount of $3,438.53 for completion of works in Windrow Acres. IN THE MATTER OF AGENCY COORDINATION COMMISSION: The Court, after some lengthy explanation and consideration, accepted & approved Commissioner Smead's proposal for an Agency Coordination Commission, at this time. IN THE MATTER OF COUNTY LANDS USEAGE BY CENTRAL OREGON COLLEGE: The Court decided at this time to grant to Central Oregon College useage of certain lands described as follows for a forestry project sponsored by the college and the County will harvest timber under direction and guidance of college Forestry Department: Township 17 S., Range 11 E.W.M.: Sec. 11 SASFr Sec. 14 NE4, E See. 26 S"]� 4, S§ , S2-ST4, NE43W 4 Sec. 35 Nl IN THE MATTER OF DEED IN LAZY RIVER: At this time the Court accepted a Deed in Lazy River for Boat Landing for public use, for the following, to -wit: Lot 36, Block 3, in Lazy River West IN THE MATTER OF HERD CONTROL DISTRICT: At this time the Court contacted all the petitioners,by written letters, who had filed a certain petition with the Deschutes County Clerk on September 25, 1968 desiring a Herd Control District in the LaPine area, and asked these petitioners to please contact the Court as to their further desires in the matter of a continuation of hearing. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: The Court at this time ordered F. C. Sholes, Tax Collector, to make the following refund of taxes: U.S. Nat'l Bank, Redmond Paid on Wrong property $197.05 IN THE MATTER OF WATER MAIN INSTALLATION: The Court at this time granted a permit to City of Bend to install 12" water pipe line on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF REAL ESTATE CONTRACT: The Court at this time executed a Real Estate Contract between Deschutes County, Oregon and John C. Arnett and Sheldon R. Arnett, for the purchase of the Sunset Home property, for the sum of One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000); with the terms of $10,000 down, the balance to be paid in equal monthly installments of $697.77 including interest at the rate of 7% per annum for a period of twenty years, the first payment being due on the first day of February, 1969. -4- VOL It FAU 35b There being no further business, Court adjourned.
