The Court at this time heard from Mr. Newell Baker on a proposal for irrigation
district including Baker and county lands; a feasibility study is in progress. Mr. Baker
also desired amortization in a reseeding of county lands. Any decision of the Court
would wait upon the report of the study.
IN THE MATTER OF
CASCADE THEATRE, INC.:
The Court heard a verbal petition from the Cascade Theatre, Inc. by Mrs. Betty
Oakley for the use of the Dyer Building for theatre and headquarters. Others who were
represented for this project were: C. W. Rickabaugh and Mrs. Hills. The Court, though
in sympathy with the project, advised the group that in the long range planning this
facility is to be used by the Deschutes County Health Department and Family Counselling
Clinic and in the present state of disrepair, the building is unfit for any public
group to use.
IN THE MATTER OF
ROAD SHOP OUTSIDE LIGHTS:
The Court approved three lights to be installed by Pacific Power & Light Co.
for flood lighting of the Road Shop area.
IN THE MATTER OF
JUVENILE ADVISORY COUNCIL:
County Judge, D. L. Penhollow, at this time verified the appointment and terms
of members of the Juvenile Advisory Council of Deschutes County.
IN THE MATTER OF
BEER LICENSES:
The Court at this time approved the following renewal applications for
beer licenses:

IN THE MATTER OF
HOUSE., 1030 BALTIMDRE:
The Court, at this date, December 19, 1966, ordered that Ervin Lovelace
be paid $135.00 for cleaning the premises at 1030 Baltimore Avenue of all rubbish and
leaving the lot in good order. Also it is further ordered that Mr. Lovelace's earnest
money of $50.00 be refunded to him.
There being no further business, Court adjourned.
