IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS:. The Court at this time ordered the Deschutes County Treasurer to transfer $200.00 from the Dog Control Fund to the Dog Control Pickup Truck Reserve Fund. IN THE MATTER OF WATER LINE.- The INE: The Court at this time granted a permit to State Parks Recreation Division to State Highway Department to install a 3" water line inside a 6" culvert on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF JUVENILE COUNSELLOR: The Court at this time ordered the Clerk to place the name of Patricia Smith on the payroll as Juvenile Counsellor at $440.00 per month as of January 1, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF SECRETARY FOR JUVENILE DEPARTMENT: The Court at this time ordered the Clerk to place the name of Evelyn Butler as Secretary for the Deschutes County Juvenile Department at $326.00 per month, effective January 1, 1967. —34" IN THE MATTER OF LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, HOME HEALTH AGENCY: The Court at this time ordered that the County Clerk place the name of Jo Ellen Temple, Licensed Practical Nurse for the Home Health Agency, Tri -County Depart- ment of Health, on a full time basis at $326.00 per month, beginning December 12, 1966. IN THE MATTER OF LEASE OF COUNTY -OWNED LANDS:; The Court at this time leased to C. Ivan McKinney the following described County -owned lands, to -wit: Township 17 South, Range 12 E.W.M.: Section 6: SE4NW4, SW4SW4, NE4SW4 containing 118.74 acres, more or less, at the rate of 5 cents per acre or $5.94 per year; the term of this lease is from January 1, 1967 to January 1, 1972. IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENTS FOR 1967.- The 967: The Court at this time appointed: Charles L. Plummer, Jr. as Deschutes County Roadmaster for 1967 W. C. James, as Deschutes County Civil Defense Director Hobart Starr as Deschutes County Veteran Service Officer John Holechek as Deschutes County Representative for Abundant Foods IN THE MATTER OF DESIGNATION OF NEWSPAPERS FOR 1967: The Court designated the Redmond Spokesman and Bend Bulletin as official newspapers for Deschutes County for 1967. IN THE MATTER OF FUEL BIDS: At this time the Court authorized the Clerk to call for gas, of;,diesel and fuel oil bids for the period: February 3, 1967 to June 30, 1968 for: 150,000 Gallons Regular gasoline Min. Octane Rating (90) 25,000 Gallons Ethyl gasoline Octane Rating (100) 53,500 Gallons #2 Diesel Fuel 300 Barrels P.S. 300 Fuel Oil for Sunset Home Bids to be opened February 1, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF EXTENSION ADVISORY COMMITTEE: The Court at this time appointed the following for a three year term to the Extension Advisory Committee John Bauer and Bob Beesley and Mrs. Dan Kilgore IN THE MATTER OF TWO COUNTY BUILDINGS BIDS; The Court at this time called for bids, by notice in the Bend Bulletin, for two county buildings located on county property at 1469 E. First, Bend, Oregon. Terms of the sale shall be Cash and the contract will be awarded to the highest bidder;; bids to be opened February 1, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF ABUNDANT FOOD STOREKEEPER.- The TOREKEEPER: The Court at this time ordered that the Clerk put John Holechek, Storekeeper -4- VCL 11 WE 2 for Deschutes County Abundant Food program on the payroll at the rate of $2.50 per hour, beginning January 1, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF RELEASE OF BOND: The Court at this time, upon the recommendation of County Roadmaster, Charles L. Plummer, ordered the Release of Bond to Cline Falls Oasis, Bond No. 489191 for $4,000.00, upon completion of the roads in the mentioned subdivision as required by the Deschutes County Planning Commission, IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTES COUNTY FAIR BOARD: The Court at this time affirmed the appointment and tenure of the Deschutes County Fair Board: Priday Holmes Jan. 1, 1971 Howard Mayfield Jan. 1, 1971 Carmen Dawson April 1, 1970 D.
