At this time bids for regular and premium gasoline, diesel oil for road depart—
ment and fuel oil for Sunset Home were opened. Shell Oil Company was awarded the contract for
regular gas at .1959 per gallon; premium at .2215 per gallon. Fuel oil for Sunset Home
will be supplied by Standard Oil at 3.20 per bbl., plus freight. Mid—Oregon will supply
the diesel for .1148 per gallon.

At this time the Court ordered the Clerk to place an increase in the salary
of Emma Lee Berg'from $3500 to $3800 per yeax, as requested by the Deschutes County
Assessor, Ike (N. J.) Donat.

MEMOiANDUM OF UNDET-STANDING
DESCHUTES NATIONAL FOREST:
The Court at this time signed an agreement with the Deschutes National Forest
on a program of road projects in Deschutes County on maintenance responsibility.

RENTAL FEE FOR
GRAZING LAND:
The Court at this time made Resolution on renewed leases of county lands for
grazing purposes, that a minimum lease fee of 10¢ per acre per year shall go into effect
and apply to all existing leases with Deschutes County, effective January 1, 1968.
IN THE MATTER OF
A PIPE LTNF::
The Court at this time granted a permit to Merritt A. Horner to install a
4" water line on or across 24th Street & Lincoln Street, Redmond Heights, Redmond.

Two INFORMATION SIGNS:
The Court at this time renewed an agreement with North Century Seven, Inc.,
for maintaining two information signs at locations on the right of way of the West
Campbell Road and the .East Campbell Road, for a period of two (2) years. The rental price
agreed upon by the parties hereto for both signs is $30.00 per year
