IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT FOR REMOVAL OF CINDERS: At this time the Court granted permission to Mr. Les Adams to remove appro- ximately 5,000 cubic yards of cinders from the Horse Butte cinder pit, under special use permit to Deschutes County by the U. S. Forest Service. The price per cubic yard will be ten cents (10¢). This material is being used on dedicated public roads. IN THE MATTER OF GOODRICH LOOP R0. At this time the Court received and heard from Mr. Trachsel with his petition for the Goodrich Loop Road. IN THE MATTER OF ROAD IN MERRILL- WILKINSON ACRES TRACTS: The Court at this time heard from Mr. and Mrs. Otis Lipps on behalf of the road in the Merrill-Igilkinson Acre Tracts. IN THE MATTER OF A JUNIPER TREE;: The Court granted permission to Mr. Kiesow to cut a juniper on county land. —3— VOL 164 IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF BOND: The Court at this time, upon the recommendation of Roadmaster, Charles L. Plummer, ordered that a refund of bond be made to Mr. Les Crane, Circle "C" Acres, as the roads have been constructed to required standards as provided by the Deschutes County Planning Commission in the above mentioned subdivision. IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTESS COUNTY AND BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT PROPERTY EXCHANGE: At this time the Court ordered the exchange of properties between Deschutes County and the Bureau of Land Management be so made, beings publication had been made. as required by statute and there being no objections, and that at this time a deed be executed and the transaction completed. IN THE MATTER OF AGGREGATE PURCHASE: The Court at this time authorized the County Roadmaster to purchase 10,455 cubic yards of aggregate from Babler Brothers, incorporated at a price of $1.00 per cubic yard.. The County will pay for the aggregate as it is used for the remainder of this fiscal year with the balance due and payable July 10, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF SPECIAL SERVICE CITY OF BEND: At this time the Court authorized the Roadmaster to proceed with the Special Service City of Bend (Airport). Estimated cost of project is to be $6,154.00. IN THE MATTER OF LEASES OF COUNTY - OWNED LANDS: At this time the Court leased to Jess Tetherow, 1235 W. Evergreen, Redmond, the following described county -owned lands: Twp. 15 S., R. 13 E.W.M.: Section 10: Q NE43E4, (20 A.) The term of this lease is from March It 1967 to March 1, 1965, for wood yard purposes only, at the rate of $1.00 per acre or 20.00. The Court leased to J. C. Bryan, Rt. 2, Box 269J, Bend: Twp. 17 S., Range 12 E.W.M.: Section 6 That portion of SW4NE- lying west of Reservoir Market Road. That portion of ITW41SES lying north of the Johnson Road. The term of this lease is from March 1, 1967 to March 1, 1968, for grazing purposes only, a total of 10 acres, more or less, at 100 per acre or $10.00 minimum. The Court leased to D. W.
