HEARING ON VACATION OF
A PORTION OF OLD PRINGLE
FALLS ROAD:
At this time the Court held a Hearing and granted the vacation of a portion
of the Old Pringle Falls Road with varied terms to the extent that the easement running
westerly, approximately 950 feet from the north -south road and along the fence lisle of
Allison and Armstrong property was to be a thirty foot easement, rather than a fifteen
foot easement and sixteen feet of the thirty foot easement was to be surfaced. Camp
Paulina will cause the 950 foot east -west road and into the Allison -Armstrong property
to be surveyed and will then grant to Armstrong et al the thirty foot private easement.

RIM ROCK ACRES
The Court heard Omar Summers and R. C. Crum on the proposed development of
Rim Rock Acres at this time and agreed to proceed with investigation in this matter
about access from Briggs Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
CASH PAYNOT TO
THE CITY OF BEND
FOR 1967 STREET.PROGRAM:
At this time the Court authorized the payment in the amount of $10,000.00
to the City of Bend as the County's share of participation in the Street Program for
1967. These funds all to come from General Road Funds.
IN THE MATTE. OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY AND
BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT
PROPERTY EXCHANGE:
The Court at this time made Resolution of intention of an exchange of property
between Deschutes County and the Bureau of Land Management, the United States of America,
pursuant to ORS 275.100, the proposed exchange described as follows:
Deschutes County to Bureau of Land Management:
Township 22 South, Range 23 E.W.M.: Section 4, Wz (321.40 acres)
Bureau of Land Management to Deschutes County:
Township 16 South, Range 12 E.,.i.M.: Sect. 24, WISW4
Sect. 25, NW,yl-.NW4 (120 acres)
The Court ordered that the County Clerk give notice of hearing to be held in
the Deschutes County Courtroom at 10:00 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, on the 3rd day of
May, 1967 at Bend, Oregon for hearing of objections if there be any, why said parcels
should not be exchanged. This Resolution will amend the Count Court Minutes of
March 1, 1967 on this matter.

AGGREGATE BIDS:
The following bids on crushed aggregate for the Tumalo Falls Road oiling
project were opened by Helen M. Dacey, County Clerk, at 10:00 a.m. on March 30, 1967 in
the Deschutes County Courtroom: By Deschutes Ready -Mix, Sand and Gravel Co. (R. L. Coats):
Total, $ 2,690.00; By Bend Aggregate & Paving Co. (H. J. Curl, Jr.): Total, $37,770.00;
By Babler Bros., Inc. (Lloyd Babler): Total, $29,670.00. The bid was awarded to Babler
Bros.

The Court executed an Easement Deed to The Western Union Telegraph Company
for a road right-of-way, twenty (20) feet in width over and across the SE4 of the NE4
of Section 22, Twp. 15 S., Range 12, E.W.M. Deschutes County, Oregon.

C TRACT OF SALE:
A Contract between Elfrieda E. Tucker and Deschutes County, Oregon, covering
a portion of Block 7, North Addition to Bend, Oregon was entered thereto for the purchase
of said property for the sum of $25,000.00. This property is known as Tax lot 2500.

The Court at this time signed a Contract of Sale between C. L. Harshh and
Harriet E. Harsch and Deschutes County, Oregon for property covering A portion of Block
Seven of North Addition for a total of $18,500.00. This property is known as Tax Lot 2600.
IN THE MATTER OF
PQ,L ESTATE CONTRACT:
At this time the Court signed an agreement for purchase of property for a
portion of Block Seven, North Addition to Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon between Deschutes
County, Oregon and Fred H. Meyers and Francis I. Meyers for a total price of $26,000.00.
This property is known as Tax lot 2300.
IN THE MATTER OF
LEASES OF COUNTY-
O�MED LANDS
The Court at this time leased to E. C. Wilder, Brothers, Oregon, the following
described county -owned lands:
Township 20 S., Range 17 E.W.M.: Section 24, NE4 (160 acres) The term of this
lease is from January 1, 1967 to January 1, 1972, at the rate of ten cents per acre, or
$16.00 per year.
The Court at this time renewed the lease with Sagebrusherts Art Society, Inc.,
for Block 154, Lots 3 and 4, Second Addition to Bend Park, Bend, Oregon. The term of this
lease is from April 1, 1967 at the total rent or sum of Fifteen Dollars per year, for
five years.
IN THE MATTER OF
REFUND OF TAXES:
The Court ordered F. C. Sholes, Tax Collector, to refund $57.30 to Marvin Mix
as an Overpayment of taxes had been made.
IN THE MATTER OF
BEER LICENSES:
The Court at this time approved the renewal application for beer license
for William H. & Lavada Wren, Twin Lakes Resort, RMBB.
There being no further business, Court adjourned.
