ASSESSOR'S OFFICE: Gen. exp. 66.07 The Court at this time ordered the County Clerk to place the name of Paricia Wyllie on the payroll as Clerk in the Assessor's Office as of April 3, 1967, at a salary of $300.00 per month. IN THE MATTER OF PURCHASING FILL MATERIAL: The Court at this time granted a permit to Hap Taylor, Jr. to purchase 3,500 cu. yards of fill material from Knott Pit. The purchase price to be ten cents per cubic yard. IN THE MATTER OF CLASS "An LICENSE • The Court at this time approved the application of Charles Asa Goddard, Hampton Station, Brothers, Oregon for a Class "A" dispensers license; RMBB. The Court also at this time approved the application of Robert & Nettie Meikle - john and Paul & Angela de Cordoba, Whistle Stop Restaurant, LaPine, Oregon, for a Class B License, RMB. IN THE MATTEER OF PAYROLL SERVICE: The Court at this time entered into a Contract, effective April 1, 1967 with the First National Bank of Portland, Oregon, for Payroll Service. IN THE MATTER OF CONTRACTS FOR COUNTY CIZED LANDS: At this time the Court signed the following contracts: Leavitt Bros. Land Investment Co.' Rt. 1, Box 170B, Springfield, Ore. David V. Harris & Grace I. Harris IN THE MATTER OF SALE OF TOPSOIL, FILL DIRT, CINDERS AND GRAVEL FROM COUNTY OVXED LAND: Lots 11 2, 31 4, 5, 62 7, 81 9 and 12, 13; 14, 15, 16, 17; Block 5, Riverside addition, Bend, purchase price $4050.00, payable $810.00 cash, balance in monthly payments of $90.00 each commencing May 1, 1967 at 6% interest. Lot 51, Railway Addition, Redmond purchase price $250.00, payable $100.00 cash, monthly payments $12.50 at 6% interest, commencing May 1, 1967. The Court at this time made Resolution that Deschutes County Court will not sell or convey any amount of topsoil fill dirt, cinders nor gravel from county owned lands as of this date. IN THE MATTER OF CONTRACT WITH BABLER BROTHERS, INC.,: The Court at this time entered into a Contract with Babler Brothers, Inc., for the Tumalo Falls Road oiling project with 12,900 cubic yards of crushed gravel in stockpiles located 4.73 miles from the west city limits of Bend, adjacent to the Tumalo —4— vot 11 lmc 13.9 Falls Road. The consideration sum for this completed project is $29,670.00. Completion time for this project will be July3., 1967. IN THE MATTER OF WING A BUILDING: The Court at this time granted a permit to Ken Holman to move a 26' x 26, building on or across Deschutes County right-of-way. IN THE MATTER OF INSTALLATION OF A PIPELINE - HUNTINGTON ROAD: The Court at this time granted permission to Glenn Anderson to install a 2" water line on Huntington Road. IN THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTION OF A PRIVATE ACCESS - BURGESS ROAD: The Court granted a permit to Glenn Anderson to construct a private access off Burgess Road. IN THE MATTER OF QUITCLAIM DEED, ST TE HIGMiAY CONT-ISSION: The Court at this time made Resolution that certain described lands be tcpB6tcla med to the State of Oregon, by and through its State Highway Commission in connection with certain right of way in Deschutes County for the Arnold Ice Cave Road -Fort Rock Road Section of the Central Oregon Highway. IN THE MATTER OF LEASES OF COUNTY -OWNED LANDS: The Court at this time leased to James H. Casper, 552 S. Sixth St. Redmond, the following described county -,owned lands,: Twp. 15 South, Range 13 East of W.M.: Section 15: IA114NE4. A total of 40 acres, more or less at the rate of 10¢ per acre, or $10.00 minimum, from January 1, 1967 to December 31, 1971, for feed lots. The Court at this time leased to Fred H. Powell double payment 35.23 IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT FOR LUSE #23: The Court at this time granted a permit to Central Oregon Pumice Company, Lease #23, to operate power driven machinery on the land that they now lease from the County; this is for mining pumice.
